"I am glad I finally listened"
This is one time I finally didn't go with the reviews and finally listened to the book. I had this book for a couple of months before listening to it. I agree the narrator was not good, she didn't have a "Man's character" voice at all, but to me the story was so cute and entertaining it out shined that problem. I love the banter. I did feel Lucy was a little "too much" but hey...it was part of the story.
In my opinion (whatever that is worth) it is worth the credit.
"Finally a sweet romance!"
This book was delightful. It had everything I was looking for, for a relaxing non nail biting book. I read/listen to so many that have me so tensed up I can hardly stand it! I do enjoy those other books but every once in awhile it is nice to just listen.
"Nice relaxing romance"
If you like happy endings and good guy wins. This is the book for you. I am looking forward to reading more from this Author and listening to Nell Geisslinger.
"Great for a Favorite "Read""
Linda Howard is quickly becoming my favorite author. I have found that unlike other authors she makes me want to listen/read every word.
This book is fun, interesting, and Cinderelish (is that a word?) Since the previous reviewer pretty much explained what the book is about, very well I might add, there is nothing I would include. It is worth a credit or more.
"Another great book"
I love this series and always look forward to the next book. This is my first Stephanie Laurens series and I will read more from this author. Simon Prebble did great with the narration.
"Very Good!"
It took me awhile to get this book, I don't know why except I haven't listened to any books by this author. Big mistake. This is a great book, one that has a wonderful ending. I wish fathers that have left children thinking "MOM'S" are all they(the children) need, would read this book.
"Confusing"
Suzanne?? I am still trying to figure out as I think the other reviewers are, why did Meg "request John Nilsson" to come help her then decide he didn't know what he was doing once he got there? Very Confusing.
Subplot with Sam and Alyssa was very interesting and I loved the story line. They made the book worth listening to.
Also loved the memory recall by Grandma Eve of her romance back in the 1940's.
"Love this series!"
Lisa does it again with her contemporary romances. This was one of my favorites. I think the other reviewers (positive ones) have said it all.
"Would have loved more romance from Sebastian with"
Rosalyn, you did a great job with the "stammer" with Evie. I have a sister and niece that have this and you are right on. Just a little hint also, there is not stuttering when they sing!! Weird huh? I did learn something with the research you seem to have done...so thanks.
The book is wonderful and I though the gentleness Sebastian showed made me cry. Also the strength Evie had was awesome. I did think it went a little overboard at times with Sebastian...but hey, guess that would be under the category of personal preference.
"Lisa is Brilliant with this Series!"
I love the Wallflower series! LK and RL are a great team with everything I have read.
