Although I appreciate the talents of Mr. Firth, who narrated this story, I cannot say that I enjoyed it. It belabored every point about love/lust and was frankly, depressing!
I am looking forward to a more upbeat storyline.
Colin Firth couldn't have done a better job of narrating. In fact, his voice was the only reason I continued listening to the bitter end.
I would have told the author to make it a short story.
I have listened to many books from Audible.com and this is the first book that I can truly say I was disappointed in and don't agree with the reviews. Too bad.
Transforming! Educational! Inspirational!
Too many to be specific but the ending was most profound.
This was the first time. The two narrators in this book are perfectly cast and do a beautiful job of becoming the characters they portray.
It was too long to listen to in one sitting. However, I found myself anxious to get back to the story every time I was able to. I didn't want it to end!
I just downloaded another book narrated by Jenna Lamia, the voice of Sara. Can't wait to hear her narrate again.
This was the first time I have listened to a Lisa Gardner novel. I enjoyed it so much that am going to download another as soon as I am finished with this review. She weaves an incredibly detailed story. I loved that I couldn't guess what was going to happen next nor could I judge any of the characters because my persception of them was ever-changing as the plot unfolded. An excellent listen!!!
The narrators were both good, however, the person who read for Det. D.D. Warren had a wonderful and commanding voice.
I Love You More - But you'll never guess how far I'll go to prove it!
Keep up the great works Lisa Gardner!
