Israel successfully launches a first strike on Iran, taking out all of their nuclear sites and six of their nuclear warheads. American president William Jackson threatens to support a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning the Jewish State for unprovoked and unwarranted acts of aggression. And the Twelfth Imam prepares to order a genocidal retaliation.

What did you like best about Damascus Countdown? What did you like least?

intelligent blend of Biblical truth, science, and current political issues. I thought the ending was not as good as the rest of the 3 book trilogy.

If you’ve listened to books by Joel C. Rosenberg before, how does this one compare?

Not the best Rosenberg fiction. OK, entertaining, but it felt to me like the story had to end, so it did. I felt more fatigue than suspense toward the end.

The Secrets of the FBI by New York Times best-selling author Ronald Kessler reveals the FBIs most closely guarded secrets and the secrets of celebrities, politicians, and movie stars uncovered by agents during their investigations.

G-Man says: "Even-handed; an interesting history of the FBI"
"not as good as Kessler's earlier FBI book"
    Overall

I have bought and listened to several of Kessler's books. This is the least impressive, possiby because I have been saturated by insights in earlier books, or maybe this should have been published as an "updated and expanded" Inside the FBI.
