no. I don't read, or listen to books more then once generally.
I don't know.
Emmmm well as far as recording gos it was good enough.
His assertion of the value of FMRIs and medication
I liked this book, but a word of caution it is not about excersizes to change your brain. its about the use of medication. Their are a few other things in their, but FMRIS and medication are essentially what the book is about. I like it, and think folks should read it, but know what your reading before you jump in. It was very helpful for me, and I think it demystifies mental processes, and can help greatly.
Nothing new or exciting, though some counterintuitive incites to be sure make it worth the read.
It was factual and made sense.
The bits on goal setting where particularly stand out.
everyone should listen to this book.
This book is not as bad as its made out to be, but its not hard theology and I dont like financial rewards being implied as evidence for salvation. But he doesn't do that to much, Anyway C.S. Lewis he is not, nor does he try to be.
So its got some good info in it but as a social worker who works day to day with people in distress I can assure you that it is not as simple as it is spelled out here, which is rather mechanical. Good information, but the human brain is not nearly as neatly packaged as the writer would like us to believe.
The author needs to spend more time out of the lab.
This book needed to address the question of why, which it spacifically did not do. It did discuss the qestion of justice, and what God plans to do about evil, but with no answer to the questin of why a good God allows evil it really puts the cart before the ohrse.
Much of this book feels like an old man shaking his cain at young people while unfairly making over generalizations and pinting to himself or his generation as an example the best way to go.
That said much of the book is excellent and everyone should read. I don't deny his wisdom, but it is his literacy outside of his choosen profession that I have doubts abut.
it was a very good book but it was a very fast paced and I had to re-listen to a lot of parts of it. But aside from that a very good book.
Man its long but it is full of so much good info, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla there now I have filled audibles demand for the number of words required to say a rather simple point
