Go to school. Get good grades. Stay out of trouble. That’s the mandate for most kids. But Nick Gautier isn’t the average teenager. He’s a boy with a destiny not even he fully understands. And his first mandate is to stay alive while everyone, even his own father, tries to kill him. He’s learned to annihilate zombies and raise the dead, divination and clairvoyance, so why is learning to drive and keep a girlfriend so dang hard?

Would you consider the audio edition of Infamous to be better than the print version?

    Yes

What was one of the most memorable moments of Infamous?

When Bubba's momma came to town. Got a bit more backstory about both Bubba and Mark.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Bubba dressed in a suit and clean cut...to take his Momma to church so she could thank God for not letting her plane crash.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Nick Gautier can't get a break.

    Any additional comments?

I like this series immensely. But it seems as though Sherilyn has too many irons in the fire. This book, along with several of her other recent releases, seem a bit predictable. It's a shame that publishers will push popular authors to crank out as many books as possible so that they can make a profit. Literature would be much more colorful if they were'nt so eager to make a buck.

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Where does Fifty Shades of Grey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book rates somewhere in the upper middle.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Christian. His character changed dramatically over the course of the series. I was amazed at the depth of development that the series had.

Did Becca Battoe do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Becca Battoe did an okay job. It wasn't the best narration ever but by no means the worse. Everytime she said "oh, my" I actually rolled my eyes. lol But I suppose that is the author's doing and not hers.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

There's a darkness in all of us, it's up to us whether we choose to embrace it or not.

Why we think it’s a great listen: The most celebrated performance in all of Audible’s history, The Help has nearly 2,000 5-star reviews from your fellow listeners. We hear the print book’s not bad, either. In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women - mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends - view one another.

Jan says: "What a great surprise!"
"I didn't think I'd enjoy this but I was so wrong!"
    Overall

I hesitated as the subject matter wasn't necessarily something that interested me. But after listening to it I must say that it was such a well written book and the narration was so impecable that anyone not listening to it is doing themselves a disservice. I can honestly say that it is by far the best book I've ever had the pleasure of both listening to and then reading (in book form) again. I bought both the audio book and later the hardcover. Give this book a chance folks and you won't be disappointed.
