"Wonderfully Unpredictable"
The Giver himself.
It unfolded bit by bit, slowly revealing what it was all about. Often, details that made no sense were introduced...and then explained much later.

I listened to this book with my son who is in Sixth Grade and required to read this as part of Literature class. I'm so glad I listened along. Definitely makes you think.
"Divergent was so much better."
The first book in this series was so exciting, but this one seemed to drag along. It repeated the same stories over and over again and didn't grab my attention in the same way that the first book did.
Not sure.
Yes, but her narration was better in Divergent. The characters were much more distinct.
It was an okay listen.
"A Classic Love Story"
Yes, and I already have. It's a great escape from everyday life!
Jamie. He is simply adorable in my mind and is both a gentleman and a warrior. He loves and honors his wife dearly...two things all men should do! He is a man of honor and good through and through.
I can't choose just one!
No...very long, so breaks are needed.
This is a wonderful book and series. I'm on Book Four as we speak!
"Good Easy Read"
It's a bit predictable, but still a fun summer read.
This is my first Joseph Finder audio book.
The teenage son! Got a chuckle out of all the "typical" behaviors...now that I have kids nearing that age!
"Wonderful story...so well written"
Probably not, but that's only because I rarely re-listen or re-read books.
That's a tough one as there are so many great characters in this story. If I absolutely had to choose, I'd say Wierman...
Loved them all...too hard to pick just one.
It made me laugh and cry...as well as gain some perspective. It really is important to "do the day and let the day do you."
Wonderfully written with so many amazing characters. King does a great job of making you believe that this could actually happen...
"Hooked on Stephen King"
It reminds me a little of Duma Key with all of its super natural components.
Mike, of course.
Sarah.
Loved this book...just sucks you in and doesn't let you go. I also loved that King narrated this one himself. I'm new to Stephen King books (my mom read them all, but I was always afraid that they would frighten me!). Now that I've started, I simply can't stop. Love this man's mind!
"Sexy but No Literary Work of Art"
I have not read the print version
Learning about the characters.
Maybe, but she was not a good choice for this one...
This series is all the rage, but I need to take a break before listening to the next one.
"The Best Ever!"
Stephen King's writing was amazing...second only to the absolutely fabulous narrator.
I loved the way King combined real-life events with his master storytelling in a way that kept me listening just about everywhere -- except maybe the shower! Unbelievably wonderful!
His ability to switch from character to character and voice to voice was incredible. He brought the characters to life in a way that the written word simply couldn't.
This book evoked every emotion under the sun!
Loved it and would recommend it to anyone and everyone! Bravo!
