I have listen to each book at least twice. This on once may be enough.
It was different than the others. I liked that it continued the other sibling stories.
Most interesting is mother may found love.
Least interesting the confusing parellel story of the movie. Women to submissive she or he should of been more dominant. A lot of fooling around stolen kiss etc.
I must admit I liked the relationship in the movie they were creating and thought that would make a great book with a young pregnant poor lady and a billionaire.
Not as high as the others but good.
This was worth the credit and a great read, I felt like I stepped back in time especially the writing was really good and funny. The story was not what I was expecting and I'm looking forward to additional books.
I don't know where to start, some parts I liked such as the children are well behaved and honest. Ben however is a snob who is boaring and thinks he's al that. It seems
If his parents hadn't died he would of never talked to Travis. Speaking of Travis a mechanic who rents a room from neighbors and don't have a pot to piss in falls for Ben and then puts up with his crap and belittling, he leaves town and upon return he dosen't make Ben grovel. It seems there weren't to many men to choose from.
This book read like a fanfiction. Trust me the content dragged on and on and you really felt like they repeated the same story over and over again. Two men who are friends at a young age that sex each other often and don't commit for over twenty years. Finally they realize their in love and each other's soul mates. Not enough drama and very little content. Even the sex scenes became repetitive.
Could of summed it up 100 pages ago.
Narrator sounded like he recorded this book in the bathroom. I was glad I had whispersync because I switched over to read it and was happy I did. Because it was a great story of how being bullied as a child may lead to all your dreams coming true if you work hard at your goals. I wish I had a Lucky in my life.
Audible was just wrong, know one previewed this prior to releasing it. Because this was the worst narration ever it was egregious and discredited the authors work. Michael deserves to be fired for trying to sound like a young woman. Audible all money isn't good money sometimes you just have to say no.
No okay for a lifetime movie.
First of all this book was incomplete and they just got to the good part when it ended. I think I need cliff notes for book 1 and then buy book 2 and 3 if this is the way these new author's are writing there books. Second, why do women fall in love with strangers after two weeks it's not realistic or believable especially when they barely have any chemistry. Third, Brooke was hired beded and betrayed by Jett and without telling us why he did it the book ended. I don't know what everyone else was reading because I thought this was the most boaring book to read and I didn't laugh, cry or yell at the characters I just listened and waited for her to wake up and realize if it's to good to be true than you have been had. The bad part there is an attorney looking for her about a matter in Europe he waits two weeks to talk to her once she gets back to the states. Why not email her and have the attorney meet her where she is? Read this at your own risk because if the author wanted a 4 or 5 star listen than they would of left it at one book instead of making it a series with all the same charchrters. I may even skip book 2 and read 3 if it's ever on sale I probably wouldn't miss anything since two weeks must be her norm.
Listen first on free preview before you buy.Oh my goodness she sounds like a chain smoker, her voice is so raspy she sounds great as a man but terrible as a young woman its hard to listen to. I was shocked she got so many great reviews and had to even lookup her picture and she even narrated Consequences and I couldn't get through that.
The roommate what good was she? Who lets there drunk roommate bring home a man and exchange numbers with him and calls you on your bull when she has no job either and lives off her dad. Then let you go away with Jett unescorted to another country really!
I'm starting to wonder if people are getting paid for their reviews because this book was just okay and not worth a credit.
This book was just okay nothing spectacular. Matter of fact it could of been shorter.
Riley is stupid, I wouldn't even say this was a romance book, because Colton (Ace) never showed any real feelings towards Riley. He treated her like she was a piece of Azz and she took it by falling for his bullshzzz. The bad part she had her own problems that they touched on but never really explained and how can she help him if she was still broken. The book was all wrong. Desperate is how she acted he wanted her when she didn't want him, after he got in her pants he dissed her and she kept coming back for more. The whole book plays like a cat and mouse game and then ends. I guess this was a preview for Fueled!
She worked what she had however, her voice was a little nasally.
I paid for it hoping it was going to get better but it didn't. The ending was a cliff hanger just like fifty all about tears. I will not pay full price for the second edition I plan on reading it on Kindle if I come a cross it on sale. Trust there wasn't enough in this book to get me to want to read Fueled.
If you want to read a romance that is funny sweet and will keep you guessing try Stardust Peaches Monroe it's a great series and very funny.
The reviews don't give this book justice. It works as a stand alone or In the series. Granted it's not about BDSM. Just a love story of two strong handsome men finding their way to love. This is the most honest male on male book I have read that focused on just them and that's kind of great.
The characters a retired military man who works at the Den and drools over a sought after escort and trying to face his demons, the twist is who is actually helping who? They both need each other and become stronger together. I wished this book was longer I hope their is a part two or a back history on the escorts perspective.
Too many to list. The love scenes were hot however just them coming together for the first embrace was enough. The author doesn't rush their feelings it grows on you.
I listened twice back to back because I was so drawn in that I started searching for other male on male romances. Lynda your fabulous and keep writing this series. It's definetjy not a repeat of the same novel over and over again.
The best coming out of the closet military book ever.
The author must be a spinster or an uptight rich b?@$! and thinks writing a book like this is therapeutic. Truly this book was unrealistic and boring there was more love shown for the kid then the man she likes. If you like women who makes fools of themselves because they can't commit to anything there whole lives because they felt neglected and only wants what they want nothing more. Than this book is for you.
Narrator was great she worked what she had. I can not blame her for the material she was given.
The ending they didn't know each other. Why would he waste his time with a woman like her. This must of been self published.
Don't waste a credit wait for 2 for one or get it at the library.
Laurann has gone above and beyond to keep this series fresh and exciting. Great book and worth the credit.
From Mud to Beauty, strength, hope and love is what she's about.
Love love love her. I hope more publishers use her. I definetjy can tell male from female voices and she seems like she's having fun.
I loved this book and it's worth the credit. The alpha males make great lovers. Listen to both books in a row and was pissed I didn't download them
at the same time.
New species series.
This narrator is Theressa Plummer using a different name. I would know her voice anywhere after listing to all of Robynn Carr's audiobooks. She knocked it out of the park and I will listen to both books again and again.
