I don't like period books I like modern romance. Disappointed I just couldn't get in to it. Audible was wrong for not saying this book takes place hundreds of years ago. If i liked period novels than I would give a higher rating. I love Sylvia Day's books just not this book.
The Sullivan series. I like how they flow. By Bella Andre.
Disappointment. I blame it on Audible. Goodread said it take place 200 years earlier in their review. If I wanted pride and prejudice I would of picked it.
Audible needs to be real with their reviews.
This was a good story with a HEA. Unfortunately I cried when Jay wrote in a Jace scene. That's about it. The last book I cried way more. This one was not as passionate you just followed the life of a young man making his way in the world while thinking of what could of been. I could of done without 8 hours of him finding himself to spending 8 hours of being in love but that's not what we get. The beginning of the book he ended up hooking up with an older foster brother who never loved him but used him, I felt that he was taken advantage of and should of found happiness after that but he didn't. The book jumped a number of years and he was still in limbo. When he fell in love again they only had a short time to be together and then the book Jumped forward some more with a stupid love triangle. The orphan does find love in the end but I felt cheated because who he ended up with their story wasn't really told. It ended with them Starting a real beginning. The background of the book told a lot of Tim and Bens story but it was just okay. Narrator was good and it was okay for a credit.
I passed this up so many times because I thought it was one of those high school romance teen novel. Boy was I wrong. I laughed I cried and I was tuned in for the whole 18 hours. I did not read book 1 and I didn't feel like I missed anything. I did download the next two books and plan on reading book 1 one day. When they say this book scanned a bunch of years it did however you don't feel like it's to much. The lovers live their lives but true love always wins. Jay Bell I am now a fan. Thankyou!🎁📚🎼🎵📰😘
This was a love story of a cop who is afraid of commitment. meets a guy who don't do hook ups. They compromise for a criminal case and realize they have more in common than they think. Worth the credit.
I didn't quite understand the name. That is why I passed it up several times. Now I get it Glamour is the name of a town not a prissy beauty school. This was actually well written a story about a man in the military who has to leave to care for his niece and the guidance counsellor who takes her in. The narration was great especially the sibling bickering. I downloaded the next edition @audible and plan on reading the last book since it's not offered as an audiobook. I hope you give this more a modern cover. The teacher in his hot glasses and the giant pilot gazing at each other. Just saying.
What's not to love ? A shy closeted former football player pursuit of an openly gay man. This book was funny, honest, and purely a special book. I was glad to use a credit on this one.
When Jay told the story on how he missed the train on purpose to just talk to Liam.
I loved his accent and he made funny passages exciting.
Liam outing himself accidently and didn't care.
Would love to find out what Liam brother and Jays sister get into. I hope theirs a novella. Or book 2. Imagine Jay with kids and pets.
Closeted pediatrician who is very afraid of being discovered makes a series of mistakes and always apologizing for his faults. Finally he realizes who and what's important to him and this is his story. It is a heart warming read not an erotic romance but a slow burn that you will remember.
Loved his deep voice. Excellent preformance.
This story speaks of life and death it will make you laugh and cry. Truefully his quick wit and banter between co workers makes it very funny.
This was worth the credit and a great read, I felt like I stepped back in time especially the writing was really good and funny. The story was not what I was expecting and I'm looking forward to additional books.
I don't know where to start, some parts I liked such as the children are well behaved and honest. Ben however is a snob who is boaring and thinks he's al that. It seems
If his parents hadn't died he would of never talked to Travis. Speaking of Travis a mechanic who rents a room from neighbors and don't have a pot to piss in falls for Ben and then puts up with his crap and belittling, he leaves town and upon return he dosen't make Ben grovel. It seems there weren't to many men to choose from.
This book read like a fanfiction. Trust me the content dragged on and on and you really felt like they repeated the same story over and over again. Two men who are friends at a young age that sex each other often and don't commit for over twenty years. Finally they realize their in love and each other's soul mates. Not enough drama and very little content. Even the sex scenes became repetitive.
Could of summed it up 100 pages ago.
Narrator sounded like he recorded this book in the bathroom. I was glad I had whispersync because I switched over to read it and was happy I did. Because it was a great story of how being bullied as a child may lead to all your dreams coming true if you work hard at your goals. I wish I had a Lucky in my life.
Audible was just wrong, know one previewed this prior to releasing it. Because this was the worst narration ever it was egregious and discredited the authors work. Michael deserves to be fired for trying to sound like a young woman. Audible all money isn't good money sometimes you just have to say no.
No okay for a lifetime movie.
