When Peter's Mother and Sister-In-Law became interested in his children.
This book was okay and I enjoyed the read as I got further into the book. It seemed to be a little slow starting but picked up after you got into the book. I was surprised to find out who the villian was because I did not know until somewhat towards the end of the book. If you can make it past the beginning, you will enjoy the rest.
I liked the pace of the story.
Yes, because you did not know what was going to happen next.
I did not laugh or cry, but it did touch a nerve considering the injustices some people will do to make themselves look better.
This is one of the good ones. I really like the attitudes in the book.
When the Dr. finds out that the Priest's Sister is really not his sister and he lets her escape.
I liked it when the hangman's daughter takes care of the man who is trying to acoust her on the boat.
When the Dr. is trying to save little Clara and he is scared that he may not be able to do anything for her.
These are very interesting stories and the author takes them from his family past and what he believes could have happened during this time. Great imagination.
This book kept you wondering what would be next. This is a better Patterson book than some of the other Privates. Patterson could play off of the brother in another book with an adversarial plot and then perhaps a coming together of the brothers, or not. I would like to see more of both brothers though.
I liked when the brother shared two secrets with the main character. What a twist. Dad was very manipulative to both kids and neither one saw it coming.
I appreciated the rivalry because as siblings most of us have dealt with that and sometimes even into adulthood. One sibling trying to help the other grown up. Will one actually try to kill the other or will they have a meeting of the minds. Who knows? Come on Mr. Patterson do one more on this plot. Imagine what would happen with a security company and a private investigative service.
No I could have spent my time listening to something better. As much as I am interested in what happend to JFK, this book was not going to answer my questions because it was to boring for me to get to any answers.
This book was very slow and not very interesting.
I did not care for Buck Schirners performance.
I did not care for this audiobook. It just was not my cup of tea. I tried to listen to it several times and would find myself daydreaming of thinking of other things. I do not think it is necessarily the writing, but my taste in books is not of this type.
This book was somewhat borng to me. I would have liked to have been sitting up waiting for the next sentence. Did not find that here.
I like Sermons and lectures so I really enjoyed this audiobook. I can also learn something new in the process.
No, but I really liked this one.
Understanding that someone elses pain is much worse than mine helps me to see how blessed I am. Though we all have our own level of pain when it comes to being a Christian some are much worse that others and it must be true that God does not give us any more than we can handle because some of the people in the Bible has an excruciating amount of pain and still worshiped God.
Yes, this book is very good at explaining why we do not trust people and why our walls continue to grow. How can we be happy?
It's all about me.
Very well read
I hope you get the same thing out of this book as I did. Just remember life is a journey and it is about making a decision every day to love others.
I don't think this one could be saved. Perhaps a re-write.
This was one of the worst James Patterson books I have ever read. I was very disappointed. I have read most of the Alex Cross series and this book does not even compare to the quality of Patterson's other works.
I would probably try another of Steven Pacey's performances, I think that it was the book and storyline that made this a bad experience.
I actually would add more scenes and action to this one. It was quite dull to read.
I would not purchase this book knowing what I know now.
Interesting, Exciting, Engrossing
I have listened to other bible narrations and this is the best I have heard. Max McLean does an excellent job. I do not mind listening and he makes it more enjoyable.
The entire Bible is important so I cannot pick a favority
Perhaps this time I will listen to the entire Bible.
