The ladies of the town won't stop whispering about deliciously wicked Jack Dodger - once a thieving street urchin, now the wealthy owner of London's most exclusive gentleman's club. Olivia, Duchess of Lovingdon, would never associate with such a rogue. So when Jack is named sole heir to the duke's personal possessions, the beautiful, well-bred lady is outraged. Now, Olivia is forced to share her beloved home with this despicable man. But Olivia's icy disdain is no match for Jack's dangerous charm.

When U.S. Navy SEAL chief Wes Skelly was sent to L.A. on assignment, he agreed to go on a blind date with beautiful single mother Brittany Evans, sister-in-law of a fellow SEAL. After all, he had been secretly in love for years, albeit with a woman who belonged to another man. So what did he have to lose?

There are moments when the main character seems really immature and then others where he's really impressive so that sometimes throws the listener for a loop. He's not the typical military hero type, he's flawed (typical), a bit immature but he's funny.

Senior Chief "Harvard" Becker believes that there is no room for women in a combat zone. It's too dangerous, too tough, and with P. J. involved, too distracting. He might respect her sharp intellect and her shooting abilities, but he still doesn't want the responsibility of making sure she stays alive. But P. J. isn't a woman who backs down easily, and to her mind, Harvard has a lot to learn. She just doesn't expect him to be so eager to instruct her on other subjects, like trust, desire - and maybe even love.

Absolutely love almost all of Jennifer Crusie's books and loved that this was a follow up to Temptation. I wish more of her books had a sequel, her character development always makes me want to know what happened to them after!

The narrator was fun to listen to as well and that always helps a great book be even better.

Sophie Dempsey wants to help her sister film a video and then get out of Temptation, Ohio. Mayor Phin Tucker wants to play pool with the police chief and keep things peaceful. But when Sophie and Phin meet, they both get more than they want. Gossip, blackmail, adultery, murder, vehicular abuse of a corpse, and slightly perverse but excellent sex: all hell breaks loose in Temptation.

As the confusion grows, so do their feelings for each other....

Though some of the storyline is a bit out there for me I'll go further with the series. The narrator did an excellent job of speeding my heart rate, making me smile, grit my teeth and empathize with the characters.

I definately want to know what's going on with the rest of the characters!
