"Worst Performance EVER!"
I love Patricia Cornwell. I have read many of her books and have enjoyed them a lot. I would never buy another audio book narrated by CJ Critt.
I do truly enjoy the Kay Scarpetta books
She read so slowly and with an awkward cadence. She took loud breaths every few words. It was so distracting and awful that I can't really even like the book as much as I could have if I had read it.
Good story. Good story line.
"Pretty good but a little predictable"
Yes. Believe it or not, I found this book to be extremely enlightening about Aspergers. It could get a little preachy at times but I learned a lot about the disease and what people impacted by it go through. I did not expect to get an education from the book.
Yes. I really like Jodi Picoult. I do find her to be a little predictable as far as story line goes but I still find her books entertaining.
I can't say that I really had one.
Maybe. It could be interesting to know how the family is doing aft everything that they went through. Or maybe to see how Jacob deals in his later years.
Good book. I recommend it.
"Mostly meh"
Fairly low honestly. There have been so many great ones.
It was an autobiography-ish book. Real life just isn't that funny even if you are Tina Fey.
Tina. She was entertaining and did make me laugh. Just not what I expected entirely.
No. This was a book that I listened to when there wasn't anything on the radio.
Kind of entertaining but don't expect to be rolling on the floor. It's just not going to happen. I admire Tina's accomplishments but she's more fun on tv.
"For kids of all ages!"
No. I almost never "read" a book more than once. Not in any way a reflection of the book.
So many. The story was not predictable. I think the part that sticks out in my head is the underground battle.
Saphira - hands down.
I will admit that I did shed a couple tears. I also laughed.
We listened to this in the car on a road trip. Two adults & a 12 year old. We were all entertained. The 12 year old boy was asking for us to hit play as soon as the car was on. When we got home we still had a couple hours left so we would listen in the evening instead of watching tv - so much more engaging!
"Amazing Story"
I wasn't sure what I was getting into since this was such a long book, but I was hooked and looking for excuses to sit in my car, go for a walk, etc just so I could listen to some more of the story.
I really liked so many of the characters. I really loved the lovable characters and I really hated the evil characters.
Many. I wouldn't want to give away too much detail and ruin something for someone else!
Ellen - she seems like a very colorful person that could teach you a lot about life.
