Acclaimed, best-selling author Lori Wick’s The Proposal is a moving tale of Christ’s love at work in early 19th-century London. William Jennings is not married and likes it that way. But when a relative passes away, he is suddenly guardian of three young children. This unexpected development provides him a male heir without the bother of a wife, yet the children quickly become more than he can handle. Finding help from a truly remarkable woman, he learns to see the world in a completely different light.

Would you try another book from Lori Wick and/or Virginia Leishman?

No to the author. The voice was ok.

What was most disappointing about Lori Wick’s story?

I only listened about half an hour to this book. When I read the description, it looked like an ordinary romance, but when I listened to it it soon became clear that it was a christian book. I'm sure it's an ok book for a christian audience, but as an atheist I have wasted good money on a book I'll never listen to.

What three words best describe Virginia Leishman’s voice?

    OK

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Disappointment

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch - the world's only totally reliable guide to the future - the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just after tea...The armies of Good and Evil are amassing, the Four Bikers of the apocalypse are revving up, and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not particularly looking forward to the coming rapture.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Already have, and will continue to do so! I've read the paperback 10 times or more, and Briggs reads it perfectly.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Good Omens?

Don't know, I was laughing the whole time.
