This is not the best in the series. If you are a fan of the series and loved Phury's installment this is the book for you. This one starts off slow and I can usually deal with that out of Ward. It's a very tedious listen in the beginning.

I am kind of mad at Ward on this one. I gave it a three because for the dedicated fan you can't miss this installment. There is a ton of new information and interesting new characters you might come to love or hate. Overall, it is a must listen. The romance between Payne and Manny is just a convenient backdrop for new and old questions. Just like Phury's installment is a buildup to Lover Mine.

I hope Ward doesn't make us wait another year before the next installment arrives. She's going somewhere with some of the old and new characters and I am definitely on board with this series. However, if you are expecting an amazing romance between Payne and Manny it just doesn't happen in this book. I would actually characterize this as V and Jane: Part II.

As usual, Jim Frangione does an outstanding job with the narration. So there you have it. A must listen for diehard fans. If this is your first listen of Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series start with another installment.

What can go wrong overseeing a bunch of android sex bots on an automated whorehouse in deep space? Great job, if Megan doesn’t die of boredom. Then she catches sight of the sexiest male she’s ever seen. On her grainy security monitor, she watches all his sexual exploits with the bots, and fantasizes. But that’s all she can do because he's a cyborg. Then fate steps in. There’s a crash and Megan must escape or die. The cyborgs are rescuing the sex bots - taking them onboard their ship. She knows cyborgs hate humans. They’ll kill her if she asks for help so she devises an insane plan - pretend to be the most realistic sex bot ever made.

I've listened to all three previous installments of the Cyborg Seduction series. This one was the best yet!

I actually enjoyed this book better than the previous books.

***This series has strong sexual content so if that bothers you, this is not the book/series for you.***

I was chuckling from the very beginning of the book. Megan is witty and smart and she grows on you.

What I liked about Ice is that he seems to be the most fascinating and compassionate cyborg we've met thus far in the series.

The narrator, Mindy Kennedy did an excellent job! This book has just enough funny at the start to suck you in and make you want to keep listening and Ice's care and compassion is refreshing for the series.

I do want to warn you, if you start with this installment and try go back and listen to book 2 or 3 you might be disappointed. Book 4 is hands down the best yet!

I don't suggest this installment if you are new to the Midnight Breed series, this is not the best book in the series to start with. I think Lara explains what has happened in other installments, but a new listener might be overwhelmed by all of characters in Edge of Dawn.

**Caution: There are many new and reintroduced characters. I suggest you set your bookmarks when new characters are introduced.**

I was worried I might be disappointed when I realized there was such a large time gap between Book 10 and Book 11.

Lara Adrian did not disappoint, she did a great job catching us up with old characters and introducing the next generation of characters. Lara Adrian and Hilary Huber did not disappoint.

    I literally cheered during the big showdown. It was G R E A T.
