What does it mean to be "crucified with Christ"? During his lifetime, renowned teacher A. W. Tozer was often invited to speak at seminaries, churches and Bible conferences on the topic of the cross and its meaning for the Christian life. Now, in this never-before-published distillation of his best teaching on the subject, you will gain a fresh understanding of the cross’s centrality to your walk of faith in Christ.

What did you love best about The Crucified Life?

Tozer is worth his weight in gold because he follows the Bible accurately. This book coaches Christians on obtaining a deeper Christianity, and explains how to achieve the real Christian life. In my opinion, "The Crucified Life" is of value not only for beginners, but also for intermediate Christians who are not progressing, or are off-track. It is also of value for Church leaders to use to re-evaluate what is important.

Have you listened to any of Tim Lundeen and A. W. Tozer ???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first listen to Tozer and Lundeen. The narrator is very good. This audio book is easy to follow and understand.

    Any additional comments?

I highly recommend "The Crucified Life". I also recommend the Puritans (such as Paul Bunyan, John Flavel, Jonathan Edwards, John Owen, Thomas Watson, and William Gurnall), D.L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon, E.M. Bounds, Andrew Murray, Jim Cymbala, and Henry Blackaby. The writings of the Christian Saints are also valuable.

Originally a series of messages delivered at Customs Lane, Foochow, South China in 1948, these were translated and published by Sure Foundation Publishers in 1965. Brother Nee's writings are an amazing call to fellow Christians. This work is only small in size, but not stature as "the author strongly recommends to all the servants of Christ that they learn a most fundamental lesson in their Christian experience; namely, the breaking of the outward man for the release of the inward spirit."

If you could sum up Release of the Spirit in three words, what would they be?

    Practical spiritual manual

What other book might you compare Release of the Spirit to and why?

This book elaborates on insights presented in Watchman Nee's best book: "The Spiritual Man". Watchman Nee's books contain the most incredible insights. I strongly recommend that every Christian study his work to understand the processes at work that God uses to create spiritual Christians.

What does Lloyd James bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Lloyd James narrated the book very well and I enjoyed it.

    Any additional comments?

The pastor at the Pentecostal/Charismatic Church I go to, and a missionary acquaintance both recommended "The Spiritual Man" by Watchman Nee, and from there I found the "Release of the Spirit". I have been able to verify Watchman Nee's insights as I progress in spiritual development. Catholics and others who are seeking spiritual growth will find this book amazingly helpful.

What did you love best about Becoming a Prayer Warrior?

There is much of value for all Christians, even advanced Christians, in this book. It helps in many ways, such as explaining and demonstrating how to use various types of prayer. The book is very thorough, including even a section on spiritual warfare against the forces of darkness.

Have you listened to any of Tavia Gilbert’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

A very positive and delightful reading of this book by the narrator Tavia Gilbert.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It caused me to pay more attention to what God may be trying to communicate to me and motivated me to try to work with God.

I recommend that all Christians read or listen to this book.

In The Law of Rewards, Alcorn shows that we shouldn't serve God just for rewards. It's more important to remember that God's reward system is for His glory, our good, and the good of others. Once we understand God's incentive program, our attitude towards generous living will never be the same. This audiobook explains how our faith determines our eternal destination but our behavior determines our eternal rewards.

What did you love best about The Law of Rewards?

The important thing about this book is that it clarifies a difficult subject in a Biblical way. Many Christians are mistaken or deluded on the subject of money. Some think that business is evil, which is not the case. In fact God insists that we must multiply our return on the money we have, and help the poor, orphans, and widows, etc. Another thing is that some, especially Catholics, think that poverty is the Christian objective, which is certainly not the case, although there is nothing wrong with giving away one's possessions. Altogether, highly recommended!

    Any additional comments?

Randy Alcorn is an authentic Biblically based Christian teacher which is very important in this day of false teachers and false religions meant to deceive and destroy Christians.

Correspondence has fallen into our hands that we were not intended to see. Foulgrin, a high-ranking demon, instructs his subordinate how to deceive and destroy Jordan Fletcher and his family. It's like placing a bugging device in hell's war room, where we overhear our enemies assessing our weaknesses and strategizing attack. To win the battle, we must know our God, know ourselves, and know our enemy. Lord Foulgrin's Letters is written to help us become better acquainted with each.

What does Frank Muller bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

The narration is excellent and done in a fashion similar to other works of fiction such as detective/mystery novels.

    Any additional comments?

An enjoyable story which teaches Christians about the true nature of this reality. It is helpful to be able to keep in mind the spiritual war that is underway between demonic beings and Christians. It is very important for Christians to know about such things to be able to pray appropriately.

What made the experience of listening to The Autobiography of Saint Therese of Lisieux the most enjoyable?

Therese's personality and approach to life are so incredible that every Christian should read this book, in addition to John Bunyan's "The Pilgrim's Progress". The two most important commandments for Christians are to love God, and to love your neighbor as yourself, and this book shows that in action.

If you could sum up Angels in three words, what would they be?

Billy Graham is an important Christian. Billy Graham's books are shining examples of Christian knowledge that can be trusted as accurate and authentic. The books are written, in my opinion, as sources of knowledge for new Christians, but everyone can garner information and understanding of Christianity that is based solidly on the Bible. Angel's can be useful. Even countries have guardian Angels.

    Story
What did you love best about The Invisible War?

This book is a good guide that everyone should listen to. The length is about right. Demons are best avoided at all costs, by avoiding non-Christian religions, the occult, yoga, Tarot cards, some types of music, horror stories or horror movies, vampires, drugs, hypnosis, and so on. Demons are real and can insert thoughts and/or images in one's mind, can appear in physical form, and can control a person's body. The Catholics are the best people to consult on these matters, in my opinion.

What did you like best about this story?

The author adheres to a proper Biblical treatment of the subject matter.

    Any additional comments?

A more detailed approach is provided by Derek Prince's book: They Shall Expel Demons. Derek Prince is a very well educated and experienced pastor from about fifty years ago.
