    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    This series has no weakness. Performance & story are good. 1st book has a nice bit of good humor too.

    What other book might you compare The Soulforge to and why?

    Lord Of The Rings. Botth have central magic themes & both don't over do the magic part. The story is what comes 1st.

    Have you listened to any of Chris Sorensen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    no

    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    When the theif character meets lots of his own kind, is real cute.

    What was most disappointing about Christopher Moore’s story?

    Describes every little detail. So that makes the story drawn out & borong.

    What three words best describe Susan Bennett’s performance?

    Ok at best. The voices are way to similar & her tone is hammy.

    Any additional comments?

    It's about a new vampire in the modern world. Their's nothing new here, it's predictable & a concept/story that's been told oh so many times. It's a good book to half lissen to & fall asleep to. It wasn't even worth the $ 3.95 I payed for it, don't wast your time or money :}

    What did you like best about this story?

    #1 Good pace & character interplay, with small bits of humor + it has no bla bla filler.
    #2 Interesting world story/history.
    #3 It talks about magic or has magic use, that is just enough to be good.

    Any additional comments?

    Here is a magical world full of factions & people struggling to gain more power or to just survive. The main character is an assin & witch. Most of the other characters use magic & know how to fight or hire those that do. The book is about the assin/witch on an epic job. Not to spoli it tomuch, but the job will deside weather or not a war starts :}

    BE WARNED SPOILER HERE & the only weakness the book has: Their is only 1 true fight in the hole book. A book with the main character who is an assin & witch, with other fighter & magic types & IT HAS 1 SHORT GOOD FIGHT !!!

    What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    Interest, but frustration & bordom too.

    Any additional comments?

    This is a coming of age story about Dragons, from the Dragons perspective, in a fantacy world.

    Cut the book in half & it would be great :}

    BAD PARTS: #1 The races are nothing new & add nothing new or interesting about them [human, dwarf, elf, ect].
    #2 The story in over described & has tomuch nothing filler, that only draws the story out.

    GOOD PARTS: #1 Interesting take on Dragons.
    #2 When the story isn't drawn out it's good & interesting :}
    #3 Good character interplay.

    On the planet Tython, the ancient Je’daii order was founded. And at the feet of its wise Masters, Lanoree Brock learned the mysteries and methods of the Force - and found her calling as one of its most powerful disciples. But as strongly as the Force flowed within Lanoree and her parents, it remained absent in her brother, who grew to despise and shun the Je’daii, and whose training in its ancient ways ended in tragedy. Now, from her solitary life as a Ranger keeping order across the galaxy, Lanoree has been summoned by the Je’daii Council on a matter of utmost urgency.

    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Good story that holds your interest.
    A different interesting view on the Force, it's use & users [I.E. their are no Jedi or Sith].
    The flash backs break up the monotony.

    And if you really think about it: you can see where how the Force is used here by good people, it could be dangerious & even evil.

    Have you listened to any of January LaVoy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No... Men & women sound pretty good, i'd give her a 4 - 4.5. Voices do meld together a slight bit thow.

    Jedi isn't mispronounced, its spelled Je'dali & they ARE NOT Jedi :}

It's a comeing of age story, with some magic. I would of liked to of seen a bit more action & magic thow. The end is hard to guess & that's a nice plus :}

    It's kill or be killed in the space penitentiary that houses the galaxy’s worst criminals, where convicts face off in gladiatorial combat while an underworld gambling empire reaps the profits of the illicit blood sport. But the newest contender in this savage arena, as demonic to behold as he is deadly to challenge, is fighting for more than just survival. His do-or-die mission, for the dark masters he serves, is to capture the ultimate weapon: an object that will enable the Sith to conquer the galaxy.

    What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    Make it about Maul, the Sith & the Force. I wanted to hear about a BAS ASS Sith. I gave up after 3.5 hrs. 30-60 min of that is about Maul & it's bad. His lord ordered him to not use the Force to survive. Why would you right a book about a bad ass Sith & not let him use the Force.

    Have you listened to any of Jonathan Davis’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Ya & he is good.
