Rachel has always been a good girl--until her 30th birthday, when her best friend Darcy throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fiancé Dex. Rachel is horrified to discover that she has genuine feelings for Dex. She prays for fate to intervene, but when she makes a choice she discovers that the lines between right and wrong are blurry, endings aren't always neat, and you have to risk all to win true happiness.

To keep it simple. I was looking for a book that would make me fall in love with the two main characters. I wanted to be glad they had done everything they could to be together after they found each other. Instead I found them weak, and whinny. Who wants a hero who won't stand up for himself, do the right thing by heroine (without having something happen to him first), and is too afraid to be with the woman he loves? Unless you like that kind of hero, don't waste your money.

Min Dobbs knows that happily-ever-after is a fairy tale, especially with a man who asked her to dinner to win a bet. Cal Morrisey knows commitment is impossible, especially with a woman as cranky as Min Dobbs. When they say good-bye at the end of their evening, they cut their losses and agree never to see each other again. But Fate has other plans.

This is a pretty good book! I liked the characters, they were very relatable. The second half dragged a little, but the characters more than made up for it. Over all it was funny and cute! It was my first of her books, and I am looking forward to the next! I can't wait!

All her life, Ashlyn Darrow has been tormented by voices from the past. This book is so good, I listened to it in one day! While I wasn't prepared for the intensity of the passion and the very graphic images detailed -I blushed more than a few times- the story line was superb. As new characters were introduced, I could imagine possible background stories for each, and any future adventures that might be in store for them. Personally, I can't wait to start the second book- which is downloading as we speak.
The narrator started his reading slightly slower than I would have liked, however once the book got going he was right on the money! The character voices are great, and his voice is great! Rather sexy, I should admit!
Overall, I would give this audiobook a 9 out of 10-again I was not prepared for the graphic images. The story line alone was plenty entertaining. If you don't mind blushing a little every now and then, you should listen to this book!
