This was one of the two worst books I've listened to since I started with Audible.com about 8 years ago, and I've listened to a lot of books in that time. It was so bad I just gave up on it after about the 5th or 6th story. I'd finally lost all hope of hearing a good, or even mediocre, story.

Stephen King and Peter Straub reintroduce you to Jack Sawyer of The Talisman, once a precocious boy traversing the Territories to save his mother and her "twinner," now a retired homicide detective drawn back to his past.

This story allowed me to visit a wonderful friend I hadn't been with in a long time, and it was great to see how well he grew up. I enjoyed every scary part as well as the lighter moments of the story. I couldn't wait to get back into my car to get back to the story and missed it when it was was over. Recommend you read The Talisman first before you read this or you'll miss stuff.
