Over the years I have known about the Nephilim and spoken to people who offered up their views and opinions - all of them very subjective and clearly un-researched. The pyramids were another one of those "problems". We know they exist but just how did works of such complexity and magnificence come about? Patrick Heron offers a great explanation of both in this excellent work.
I found the book to offer just the right amount of anticipation and as promised, does indeed deliver explanations which are both plausible and believable other than the "just so" line we often are expected to be satisfied with.
I will not give anything away other than to say, once you have read this book, you will look at the parts of history covered in this book, in a totally new light.
I will definitely listen to this book again. As an IT person myself I found the content simply captivating, and realised that Kevin Mitnick was doing what many of us IT folks do - becoming consumed in it. It just happens.
When the helicopter was hovering overhead and Kevin was really on the run, it was like you were living every moment with him.
Ray Porter was a superb narrator and did the book justice. My favorite character would probably be Kevin himself - portraying his obvious frustrations and moments of elation.
This has to be one of THE best audio books I have listened to. I could not
Yes, it would be great to have those heady pre 911 days back when radical Islam wasn't our problem. Unfortunately there IS no going back and as Mark Steyn puts it so succintly; An old lady driving erratically on the highway is her problem. The same old lady with the same driving pattern, in an 18 wheeler, becomes your problem. That 18 wheeler is radical Islam and it IS our problem. We either deal with it or we do what Neville Chambelaine did with Hitler; ignore it and hopefully it will go away. This book is a must for every liberty loving person, Chinese, Indian, the West, it does not matter, the message is relevant and crucially important for us all. Yes, the multi culti leftys will scoff, as they do, at us "alarmists" but I fear they will one day hear the words "Told ya!" Sadly that will be too late.
I stumbled on this series by pure chance and decided that I have nothing to lose seeing that it was free. In short, it was one of THE most riveting audio renditions I have heard in a long time. It showed me that people who are tired of accepting neo-darwinsm as "just so" are far more numerous than the press would have us believe and that the current naturlistic explanations for the specified complexity we see around us is hopelessly inadequate.
I did find it disappointing but not very surprising that no proponents of darwinian evolution were prepared to partake in the hearings. I too would also have been reticent to appear on an international forum and attempt to defend my view if it was so utterly factually vacuus.
I believe everyone should take the time to listen to this series, especially those who believe, as I used to, in neo-darwinian evolution.
No too long ago the majority used to believe the earth was flat. The majority turned out to be wrong. It wasn't the first time that happened and it definitely wont be the last.
I believe that what happened in Kansas is just the beginning. If science claims to be science it must go where the data and the evidence lead and not be dogmatic by refusing to allow only some things and disallow others. If the only viable explanation for something appears to be non-naturalistic surely science should be open minded enough to accept it until and if a better naturalistic explanation comes along?
This series WILL affect you, no matter what you believe.
The New Testament has a thread that seems to flow from start to finish. After going through the New Testament in around six weeks, I couldnt wait to get started again. I have discovered truths by listening that I have overlooked many times during reading. It's awesome....get it!!
