Earworms mbt© is a revolutionary accelerated learning technique that takes the hard work out of learning. By listening to these specially composed melodies, with their rhythmic repetitions of Arabic and English a few times, you will pick up over 200 essential words and phrases that will not just be on the tip of your tongue, but burned deeply into your long-term memory in next to no time.

OUTSTANDING! While I can take-or-leave background music in this kind of thing, I'd like to give their teaching format the HIGHEST POSSIBLE rating for a non-book learning technique. I WISH I COULD FIND MORE LEVELS, right now I can find just 1 and 2.

Young pilot Donald Ross has little in common with the Oxford don who has employed him on an expedition to the Arctic - and still less with his beautiful but stubborn daughter, Alix. But once the three of them reach the treacherous shores of Greenland, their destinies are inextricably bound by the events that unfold there.

What would have made The Innocent: A Novel better?

OUTSTANDING NARRATION, BEARABLE SOUND EFFECTS. AND STORY REALLY ROLLS ALONG BUT CASSIDY FAILS AT TRYING TO PULL IT ALL TOGETHER AT THE END - JUST NOT POSSIBLE, ENDING UNBELIEVABLE IN A COUPLE OF MAJOR WAYS.

Has The Innocent: A Novel turned you off from other books in this genre?

    I DON'T THINK SO

What about Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s performance did you like?

EVERYTHING! EXCELLENT NARRATION AND PERFORMANCE. HE GETS 5 STARS.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

YES. SEEMED LIKE A REALLY DECENT PRODUCTION UNTIL THE STORY LINE BIT THE DUST AT THE VERY END.

    Any additional comments?

NO. WISH THAT IT COULD BE FIXED SOMEHOW, THAT'S ALL.

  • Heavenly Man: The Remarkable True Story of Chinese Christian Brother Yun

The dramatic autobiography of one of China's dedicated, courageous, and intensely persecuted house church leaders. This is the gripping story of how God took a young, half-starved boy from a poor village in Henan province and placed him on the front line for Jesus, in the face of impossible odds. Instead of focusing on the many miracles or experiences of suffering, however, Yun prefers to focus on the character and beauty of Jesus.

Jeanne says: "Great book, one of my old time favorites."

What did you love best about Heavenly Man?

His will to survive - NOT to give up, no matter WHAT! Also, his appropriate gratitude to the Lord for who He is and what He did for Yun.

What did you like best about this story?

I really loved the many salvation testimonies shared throughout this story - mostly because dear brother Yun was unable to refrain from sharing the greatest gift - and FREE - with those he met.

Which character – as performed by Cristofer Jean – was your favorite?

Yun was my favorite human character.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were many moments which moved me - but the pain and agony suffered by Yun and by others were difficult for me at times.

    Any additional comments?

Have you really had an encounter with the Lord? How intimate are you with Him? Does you really know Him? There may come a time of true testing for each one of us, no matter where we live, during our walk on this earth; when we will really see where we are in Christ, and how strong our relationship is in Him. Truly enjoyed this book -- and definitely recommend it to others for their consideration.

Son of a middle-class Englishman, Robinson Crusoe takes to the sea to find adventure. And find it he does when on one of his voyages he is shipwrecked on a deserted South American island for 35 years. After scavenging his broken ship for useful items, he had only his skills and ingenuity to keep him alive as there was to be no one else on the island for the next 24 years.

Would you listen to Robinson Crusoe again? Why?

Yes! Because I cannot seem to find anything else like it and nothing even half as good.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Robinson Crusoe?

Going back to the wrecked ship to scavenge for food and supplies.

Have you listened to any of Tom Casaletto’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book really took me back in my life.

    Any additional comments?

Sure wish this was a long series. I absolutely loved it.

Pastor Kyle Idleman doesn't just want to be a fan of Jesus, he wants to full heartedly commit to him and be a follower of Jesus. But how can you make the leap from fan to follower? In Not a Fan Idleman uses biblical examples to show how the people who met Jesus also had to decide if they were fans or followers, and what it meant for them to then become followers.

Starting Out in Arabic is a beginner-level program that includes short and simple lessons and dialogues. It covers all the basics, with plenty of repetition and practice, making it ideal for audio-only learning.

Starting Out in Arabic is perfect if you want to learn while commuting, running errands, or at the gym - or if you simply to learn at home and prefer an all-audio course.

"Starting Out in Arabic" by Living Language is definitely one of the best that I have encountered. I am using several Arabic language audio books in my personal effort to learn the Arabic language. This is based upon Arabic as it is spoken in Syria and numerous other Arabic-speaking areas (as opposed to the Arabic which is based upon the type of dialect spoken in Egypt).
