"Swan Song"
This was an absolutely awesome book. I LOVED everything about it and I was so sorry when it ended. In my opinion this is a classic that rates up among the very top. Do not miss out on this one. I rarely write any kind of review but this book definitely rates one. A++++++ all the way.
"Narrator!"
I gave the story only one star because I couldn't listen to any of it past the first two minutes! The narrator was terrible!
"Narrator"
I really did not care for the naration of this story. I did not like the verbal portrayal of Milo, and found it 'grated' on my nerves.
"Not for me!"
I took a chance on this one and really wished I hadn't. It started off well but the further I got into this book the more I disliked it. Supernatural beings etc., are ok but this was totally off the wall! I did not like this book at all.
"Boring."
I am a big fan of Preston and Child. But not this book. Very boring, predictable and way too long for the story they are telling. I will not bother with another "Gideon" story. Save your credit.
"OMG!"
I am determined to finish this, only because I wasted a whole credit on it. I usually enjoy Dean Koontz, but this book is abysmal! It is not suspenseful, exciting or anything else. Just a 'bunch' of supposedly scary 'things' thrown together in a supposedly scary situation. Do not waste your credit on this book. One of his worst!!
"Boring"
Too....much....talking! Very long-winded, not enough, if any, action. I am forcing myself to finish this book to see if anything EVER happens.
"Verbose"
Although I always enjoy books by this author I wish at times he was not quite as 'descriptive'. Sometimes his descriptions of the sky, scenery etc., detract from the story.
"Nope"
I just could not get into this one. I have listened to many, many audible books, good and bad. With this one I tried really hard to stick with it but just couldn't.
"Snore!!"
I really don't know if the story itself was any good because I could not get past the narrator. Boring doesn't even cover it. Monotonous, sleep inducing naration killed this novel for me.
