I enjoyed the first Hathaway book enough to look for the second. Unfortunately I found it a bit tedious. The best parts were with Amelia and Rowan from book one. The Kev and Win story just seems contrived with roadblocks of their own making. I finished the book, but only because I paid for it.
Not only educational, but entertaining. I definitely think this was time well spent.
The audio track needs to be re-edited. The cuts often resulted in repeated words or phrases, indicating that an editor needs to take a listen and re-splice the track.
I enjoy Lisa Kleypas books a lot, though they do seem "formula" written (many of the books have the same plot arcs, though different plots). That doesn't take away from the enjoyable characters and the good narration. Worth the credit.
I was hooked with the narration of this book- it definately added to the reading experience. The plot was good too, with charracter development and interesting plotlines. There were some graphic, uncomfortable parts, but overall I have reccomended this book to several people with varying tastes.
I finished this book, as I kept hoping it would get better. But the end was even more disappointing than the rest of the tedious book. It was VERY Christian-centric, which a lot of times seemed forced. There were lots of extra charracters that didn't add to the story but distracted from the main plotlines. And the end felt like another 5 chapters were condenced into an epilogue. Very disappointed.
