"Wonderful kids book!"
The third in a series and full of adventure. My kids love listening to audio books and this series brings in hints of Percey Jackson (which the kids love). The story is full of adventure and I love the narrarators. The narrarators brings the story to life with the side remarks to each other just like true siblings would do, it makes you laugh. Rick Riordan does a great job of going outside of the box in a world full of witches, wizards, and vampires.
"Love the series but this was dissapointing..."
I love this series, but this book by far was my least favorite. I felt that the book was forced to finish the series and it didn’t leave you wondering about anything and not because the story had a great ending. When other series are finished they make you wonder what if…. Not this book, the beginning started out OK and the tie in with past characters was fun other than that the book felt like it was rushed to be finished to meet the publisher timeline.
"Slow..."
Great story line but the narrator Brianna Knickerbocker was so slow in speaking that I had to turn the speed up to 1 1/2 times just to get through the book. Her voice just dragged and dragged plus I have never met a teenager who spoke that slowly in my life (having two teenage girls). After turning the books speed faster I could finally enjoy the storyline and it had some great twists.
"This book was great!!!"
This book kept me rolling all day long!!! I was laughing and mad all at the same time. The performance made the book even better. I liked the movie but it did NOT do the book justice... If you liked the movie then you will love the audiobook.
"Great YA book!"
This book was a chance purchase. I really didn't know what to expect, but I was greatly surprised. My 15 year old daughter also listened to the book and the first question out of her mouth was "When does the next one come out?" Very rarely will she ask that about an audiobook. The Selection is like a cross between the Hunger Games and Delerium just without as much action. We are looking forward to the next book in the series.
"This is one of my favorites!!!"
Yes, I love this book. I have listened to this book multiple times along with reading the paper book. The book has a great story line, that brings in history and present events to light.
"Love, love, love this series!!!"
I love this series and buy it in both hard back book and audio. The third book in the series and it just keeps getting better!!! When ever someone asks about a good book to read this series is always at the top of my list. It breaks out of the vampire, witch, wizard mold and goes in its own direction. This book is full of adventure and suspence along with the love triangle wich keeps getting better and better.
"Great Book..."
I fell in love with the first book and was waiting for this book to come out, now I am waiting for the third book. I love the historical characters that were brought to life in this book. The book did a great job picking up where the last book left off. This book was a little slower than the first book, but was still full of story and life.
"Keeps getting better!!!"
Sequel to Tiger???s Curse (read my review), this book takes off where the last one left you!!! The writing only gets better and the plot thickens??? This is a must read for those who love action, adventure, foreign places, and a little romance. My whole family loves this series and we can???t wait for the next one to be released.
"Great Book!!!"
I read this book first on my Kindle, loved it and had to get the second on right away! Soon, my teenage daughter had to read a book with foreign influence for her English class, but she was paired with 3 guys who didn???t want the sappy love stories; they wanted action. I recommended this book (it has both and would make everyone happy). To my surprise I ended up getting 5 copies of the book because the guys fell in love with the book and were excited to finish reading the book as fast as they could. Then they had to read the second book too???they fought over the Kindle version just to read it. This is a great book and I love all the attention to detail, makes you want to go and see all the places described.
