No....didn't like the ending
He started out sounding a little mono-tone to me....but as I got further into the listen...his voice lent itself well to the Native American story line.
I wouldn't listen again, but, it's a good 1st time listen.
I would say top 10
Naturally Danny....this was, after all, his story! It was nice to find out what happened to him after the Overlook.
Would have been nice.
Dean Koontz never lets me down! Narrator was fabulous too!
I would....I thought it was a good listen...I haven't listened to the book "Hill House" (if there is one) I did see both movies tho, and this story was VERY similar.
As I just stated..."Hill House" if there is such a book....because it was very similar.
They were all very well done.
A few reactions....laugh...mad....happy!
Probably not....but, it was without a doubt one of the most interesting stories I've listened to in a long time!
David was...because he was so......clueless...and it's hard to put into words the way the author did!
No....I only bought this audio book because I had just seen the movie 3 nights earlier...and when I was looking for a book to purchase....here it was!
I think "John Dies at the End" is a much better eye catcher than "The Soy Sauce"
Yes....because it's a good story.
Even tho I liked the audio version of this book.... after having watched the movie, a friend loaned me her hard bound copy of the book....which included a dictionary of "their language" I became sooo hooked....I bought every new soft cover that came out, following Paul's journey..........but, I never bought the final book.....it started going waaaaaaay out in left field, and I found it hard to understand! But this listen is very good!
Most deffinately the narrator....he is without a doubt the most diverse narrator I have listened to!
No, but I will seek out anything he has narrated. This man puts his ALL into his characters....and there is no holding back! I was entranced!
I love Steven King stories....but, there have been a few that had ...lets just say bad narration! This man did King proud! Thank you Steven Weber!
I have always loved to read story's allowing my mind to create how the carachters sound and look.....but, when a narrator does such a creative job for me.... it's sublime!
All of it!
Definately! If I run across a very good story...I will listen a few times.
Mostly, because it was from the town my cousin lives in. But I found it to be a very engaging listen.
I think she did a fantastic job at creating each character with her voice. I truly believed I was listening to each person, not just the narrator!
I am trying to expand my authors, and was very happy to find this author!
Anyone with insomnia...other than that...NO ONE!
NO! This was just a bad choice for a narrator(s). The books are fantastic otherwise.
The voice droned on...and on...and ....zzzzzzzzzzzz!
These 4 stories are classic and timeless. It's just ashamed the narrator(s) had to take the excitement and entertainment out of these stories.........I will not be getting any books narrated by...PETER BACHELOR, GEORGE EUSTICE, or ALAN MUNRO.
