"Great Read & Very Funny Book"
The facts that Mike lays out are spot on. Mike made it an enlighing read while still keeping it fun.
I enjoyed this book just like I did Bill O'Riley's book Killing Lincoln.
Mike cracked me up with his reading style. He made this book very worth the investment in.
Mike performing his version of a jihad yell cracked me up.
"Great Inspirational Book - Thanks Eric!!"
This book allows you to review the lifes of 7 great men. That each man added great value to life in the way they lived their lives. It makes you really think.
This book allows you to review the lifes of each of these men by reaching out to other books either written by them or about them. Eric picked 7 great man. Two thumbs up for selecting these 7 men.
It was great to hear the lives of Jackie Robinsion, Pope John Paul II, Chuck Colson, etc.
Jackie Robinsion & Chuck Colson were great additional men that gave me a review of them that I did not realize.
Very enjoyable book. Highly recommend this book.
"Great Job!! - Enjoyed Every Second of This Book"
I put Killing Kennedy up there with Killing Lincoln loved both books, Both of these books grab your attention and you just do not want to put it down and I didn't.
The way this book is laid out that it was really cool to get the interaction between, Jack, Jackie, Bobby, LBJ and the others. The actual point where JFK is shot in Dallas was a dramatic point.
Bill O'Reilly's performance is remarkable and makes the book that much more enjoyable.
I was broken hearted that JFK was shot and that because the FBI screwed up we lost the President of the United States, It was a very sad day for America. It really broke my heart.
Just wish Bill had spent a little more time at the end going over JFK's buriel at Arlington National Cemetery. Just something to think about. for the paper back edition of the book.
"Wow - Living History - Right Before Our Eyes"
I am a great lover of American History. I have listened to the full audio book several times since it came out and relistening to it now. Listening to this book has given me a great appreciation for
The way the General interacts with others, from his family, the Presidents and members of Congress. Everyone was treated with such great respect. That Ike and Mamie were from a generation that understood that it took hard work and sacrifice to make a better life for your children and grandchildren. That America is the Last Best Hope for the world.
Arthur Morey made the experience of this book very enjoyable. He did a great job.
When the book transitioned to the time when the General knew he would never come back to Eisenhower Farm in Gettysburg, Pa. Wow, the human emotion of it all. The General showed that he was a father, grandfather, President, General and most importantly husband to Mamie.
Highly recommend this book to all history buffs. Only one statement I can say....Wow. Learned stuff I never even realized that President and General Eisenhower did for the country he loved. Would make a great Christmas or Birthday gift for the reader in your life.
