It’s Gin Blanco's party - and you’ll cry if she wants you to. Against her better judgment, Gin is coerced into attending a high-society gala with the rest of Ashland's elite underworld. On display: the priceless art collection of her deceased nemesis, Mab Monroe, and an excess of crime-boss swagger. While not comfortable in her fancy attire, Gin gets vastly more interested in the evening’s events when a group of thieves bursts in and tries to seize the valuable, dangerous gems.

This new narrator sounds like she is 12. I know this is for adolescent's but does not do well with romance!!!

For a vampire killer like Jane, having Leo Pellisier as a boss took some getting used to. But now, someone is out to take his place as Master Vampire of the city of New Orleans, and is not afraid to go through Jane to do it. After an attack that’s tantamount to a war declaration, Leo knows his rival is both powerful and vicious, but Leo’s not about to run scared. After all, he has Jane. But then, a plague strikes, one that takes down vampires and makes their masters easy prey.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Everybody was going to this book either before or after "fifty" (Fifty Shades of Gray) said this wasn't as "kinky" easier flow or more of an alternative. It was NOT. Hard to follow from the beginning. I stayed with it for the first 4 hours but it never really kept my attention and that is saying something considering that I have 2 memberships and buy extra books due to travel. I haven't rated a book in a while but this one was not high on my list. Sorry but would waste a credit on it again.

Five days after Owen Zastava Pitt pushed his insufferable boss out of a 14th story window, he woke up in the hospital with a scarred face, an unbelievable memory, and a job offer. It turns out that monsters are real. All the things from myth, legend, and B-movies are out there, waiting in the shadows. Some of them are evil, and some are just hungry. Monster Hunter International is the premier eradication company in the business. And now Owen is their newest recruit.

I like a little more romance in my fantansy books but when they started calling out alll the small towns all around Alabama. It was great. It was also has some pretty funny belly laugh lines in it.

Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans’ voodoo queen just keeps on giving - leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit. Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Everytime an new book comes out I always relisten to the previous book first to help remind me where we are and what happened last so I'm all caught up for the new release. Then I drooling for the new book..... Not even 1/3 into this book did I wonder if the REAL J. Frost had written it. It was way to intent without the wit and dry scarcasm of Cat & Bones. And for the LOVE what happened to the romance, the pure raw need they had for each other? One scene in the whole book just doesn't cut it for me. this was a real disappoint for me. Sorry but I was the Old RED Reaper and Bones back with the romance and wit.

Has One Grave at a Time turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, but it did disappoint me in the series.

Which character ??? as performed by Tavia Gilbert ??? was your favorite?

    Cat & Bones as always

Did One Grave at a Time inspire you to do anything?

Go back and listen to the eariler books and see how much it has change for the worse I am sorry to say.
