I listened to this book after hearing about it in the Steve Jobs biography. The book contains some interesting concepts and certainly provides insight into what made Steve Jobs tick. The narration and story are a bit tedious, but worth the listen.
This is a very good book, which can help you adjust your approach to your goals and life. Just about each concept is supported by the author's research. It is an easy read and has good practical suggestions you can tailor to your own life.
I even had my 18 year old daughter read it. While she initially grumbled about having to do so, after she had finished the book, she told me that she was glad that I had "forced her" to read it. She told me that reading the book helped her realize that in many ways she was defeating herself and holding herself back in certain aspects of her goal setting. Since listening to this book, I've purchased two copies for family members. If you take the time to listen to this book, you will be glad you did.
Mr. Isaacson does a wonderful job telling a story which is compelling and captivating about a brilliant, yet flawed man. I enjoyed it so much I listened to the books he wrote about Einstein & Ben Franklin. While those were good as well, this books does top them both.
This is a well written and insightful book which is full of practical information. Mr. Siegel does a wonderful job narrating, as well. I'm very glad that I listened to it. You should too!!!
I was a bit surprised about how poorly written and narrated this book was. Dr. Chopra is capable of much better writing. He certainly should have let a professional narrator do the reading.
This is a fantastic book. The content and message are direct and easy to digest. Humphrey Bower should narrate every book. It really is true that, with audio books, the narrator makes or breaks the experience. I highly recommend this audio book.
This book is beautifully written and narrated. Can't praise it enough.
