short and interesting. I liked how he wrote the story. Made me purchase and listen to other books. I read this book mainly because of the book "14" by the same author.
Wow, this is a good science book that is not so much about science as it is about a man and life and the problems we fall into with not being perfect. The ending is good. The build up is great and the characters are amazing. I would read it again in a second.
This story could have been terrible. But it is done very very well. I was impressed by how the story came together completely and the characters were deep and with faults of their own. The only problem I had with the book is why the bad guys (no spoiler) were bad. Otherwise great read for a genera that is hard to be creative in.
Good book I enjoyed the read however it was a little simple. The concept was intriguing however. The characters were decent but did not have the depth required for such a concept.
Teen book which is good and interesting, but not as good as the hunger games.
Definitely a Teen book. It is fun it is interesting however it is not deep and it has the same problems as most teen books, such that if this logical step was taken, then none of this would happen.
I enjoyed the book, but it was not up to what I was expecting unfortunately.
Interesting and Fun thought processes into what the universe is and where it is going. When you go into the rabbit hole of theoretical science you fall in love all over again with your childhood fantasies and think about what the human race may accomplish in the future.
I finished this book and I thought it was good, however it was a hard read for me. I didn't like how the story jumped around and I had a hard time loving the characters. I did like them however. I thought the idea of the story was well thought out.
This story starts out so wonderful. It is a great description of a post-apocalyptic landscape. The only issue with the story is the religious parts that start to appear as the great battle between what is thought to be good and evil. I would have much rather seen the story go in a continuous surviving the unthinkable line. However the book is really good and worth a read. I tried to watch the movie / TV show and I just could not get into it.
This book really gets you going into a adventure that you want so badly to be real. The mystery is there, the suspense is there.
This book reminds me of the LOST TV show. Season 1 it starts off awesome and you want more. You get to the hatch and you are so bewildered and amazed you don't know what to think. But finally you get to the ending and you are left with a bit of why did it go that way.
Nonetheless I liked it a lot and I have added Peter Clines to my author list. I can't wait to read more and I would love to know of more books like this.
