Would you listen to The Last Olympian: Percy Jackson, Book 5 again? Why?

Yes I would listen to it again and maybe I would like it better this time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Last Olympian: Percy Jackson, Book 5?

The fight sequences were really good and I liked how Percy thought through and came to the decisions that he made.

Have you listened to any of Jesse Bernstein’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listned to all all Jesse Bernstein's narations of the Percy Jackson books and I have enjoyed his performances each time wether or not I have liked the writing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    No I did not.

    Any additional comments?

Though I liked the fight sequences of the book I have to say in someways I felt let down by the end of series. I just didn't really like the romance angle of the book despite realising early on that Percy and Annabeth would end up together. Other than that I would encourage anyone to listen to the Percy Jackson and the Olymipians series.

Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay out of trouble. But can he really be expected to stand by and watch while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself against his pre-algebra teacher when she turns into a monster and tries to kill him? Of course, no one believes Percy about the monster incident; he's not even sure he believes himself.

What did you love best about The Lightning Thief?

The humor and the combination of the Greek Mythology and fantasy.

What other book might you compare The Lightning Thief to and why?

It reminded me a little of Harry Potter in the that Percy and Harry are a like in the way that they are both boys of a certain age and that his companions are one male and one female. They also seem to have leadership and heroism thrust upon on the but it suits them at the same time.

Have you listened to any of Jesse Bernstein’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have never listened to Jesse Bernstein before but I enjoyed his performance very much.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh at times but I wouldn't that an extreme reaction.

    Any additional comments?

It was a very enjoyable listen and I am looking forward to the next installment very much

Sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom is the sole survivor of a car accident that killed her family. Exiled to sunny California Ever is haunted by her little sister and by the ability to see people’s auras, hear their thoughts and know their entire life story by touching them.

I have been listening to and reading a lot of books that are very similar to Evermore and though I did enjoy it I think that Alyson Noel probably made the story harder than it should have been. It also reminded me a little of Lauren Kate's Fallen Series though if I had to choose I would probably go Lauren over Alyson.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I recommend this audiobook to anyone that enjoys a good thriller and adventure story

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot keeps you on your seat for sure as you never know who it is that is after the main character, Kate. The people that help her along the way change regularly and though she trusts them half the time she shouldn't

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I never heard a book by the narrator before and she did a good job on this one

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it is and it was hard stopping it because I always wanted to know where Kate was going to and what mess she was getting herself into.

    Any additional comments?

This is a very enjoyable listen and I hope that J.L Carrell's next is done in audio format as I have read that one and it was really good read so I would love to listen to it as well.

In 1886, a mysterious travelling circus becomes an international sensation. Open only at night, constructed entirely in black and white, Le Cirque des Rêves delights all who wander its circular paths and warm themselves at its bonfire. Although there are acrobats, fortune-tellers and contortionists, the Circus of Dreams is no conventional spectacle. Some tents contain clouds, some ice.

Sukiko, I hope I spelt that right.

If you could take any character from The Night Circus out to dinner, who would it be and why?

She's quiet, keeps to herself, and doesn't get out much - not because she's not pretty - she's a very cute bubbly blonde - or not interested in a social life. She really is . . . but Sookie's got a bit of a disability. She can read minds.

I have watched the first season of True Blood and didn't really like it all that much, it was a little too explicit for my tastes but I decided to give the book a go. I was pleasantly surprised and found it very hard to stop listening to once I started.

When historian Diana Bishop opens an alchemical manuscript in the Bodleian Library, it's an unwelcome intrusion of magic into her carefully ordered life. Though Diana is a witch of impeccable lineage, the violent death of her parents while she was still a child convinced her that human fear is more potent than any witchcraft. Now Diana has unwittingly exposed herself to a world she's kept at bay for years; one of powerful witches, creative, destructive daemons and long-lived vampires.

I loved the different accents Jennifer Ikeda did for the characters and I hope that when Deborah Harkness finishes and release the next book that Jennifer Ikeda will do the next one as well.

I have read and listened to all of Cassandra Clare's books and though I liked Natalie Moore's readings I have to say that I have enjoyed this one the most mainly due to Ed Westwick. He adds a different dynamic to the story and his interpretation of Simon is wonderful. I think I also like Molly Quinn more than I liked Natalie's Moore or maybe she it was just her in tandom with Ed that makes this audiobook so easy to listen too and hard to press pause buttom.
