Would you consider the audio edition of The Rogue to be better than the print version?

The book is very interesting and keeps interest but the reader is choppy and over articulates her words. Sadly the reader takes away from a very good story.

One question, a split-second decision, and Brian Darby lies dead on the kitchen floor. His wife, state police trooper Tessa Leoni, claims to have shot him in self-defense, and bears the bruises to back up her tale. For veteran detective D. D. Warren it should be an open-and-shut case. But where is their six-year-old daughter? As the homicide investigation ratchets into a frantic statewide search for a missing child, D. D. Warren must partner with former lover Bobby Dodge to break through the blue wall of police brotherhood, seeking to understand the inner workings of a trooper’s mind while also unearthing family secrets.

What did you love best about Love You More?

I liked the fact that I was hooked from the very get go.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The state cop that is the main character

What does Kirsten Potter and Katie MacNichol bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Personalities of the two main characters

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I got super frustrated with Detective DeeDee. She is supposed to be a brilliant cop but seemed to not have objectivity when it came to another female police officer that was pretty.

    Any additional comments?

It's worth your time just know you'll be committed to it till it's finished so make sure you have time to listen. You won't be able to put it down.

A few miles away, at a local rodeo, Sophia Danko, a senior at Wake Forest, meets a young cowboy named Luke. Ira and Ruth. Sophia and Luke. Two couples who have little in common. Yet their lives will converge with unexpected poignancy, reminding us all that even the most difficult decisions can yield extraordinary journeys: beyond despair, beyond death, to the farthest reaches of the human heart.

What made the experience of listening to The Longest Ride the most enjoyable?

    The detail of the relationships.

What did you like best about this story?

I felt like I knew the characters

Which character – as performed by Ron McLarty and January LaVoy – was your favorite?

Sophia was my favorite because of her simple loving heart, Ira was my favorite because of his deep love for his wife and Luke was my favorite because of his honest integrity and love for Sophia. Ruth was my favorite because of her love of Ira, her students and art she reminds me of my German grandmother who's name was the same and was also a school teacher.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I like the title of the book for this

    Any additional comments?

There is so much I could say about this book. It embodies the love of a full life both of man to woman as well as the love of learning and the arts both on canvas and in the sports arena.

Inspector Thomas Lynley is mystified when he's sent undercover to investigate the death of Ian Cresswell at the request of the man's uncle, the wealthy and influential Bernard Fairclough. The death has been ruled an accidental drowning, and nothing on the surface indicates otherwise. But when Lynley enlists the help of his friends Simon and Deborah St. James, the trio's digging soon reveals that the Fairclough clan is awash in secrets, lies, and motives.

Would you try another book from Elizabeth George and/or Davina Porter?

This author seems to have missed the concept that less is more. She sets the stage and tells and retells the foundation over, and over, and over again. I was getting so frustrated with the drawn out dialogue that I almost stopped listening and move onto another book. The only thing that kept me listening was wanting to know how the children came out. The ending left me thinking that's it? The goal of an author is to make the reader want to get their hands on another book by that author ASAP. This author did not achieve that with me. I was just glad it was over.

What was most disappointing about Elizabeth George’s story?

Trouble through out the book. Less setting the stage that had already been set. Assume the reader is not stupid and got it the first time maybe the second but to repeat and repeat just not necessary.

Did Davina Porter do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Yes, I did follow that.

What character would you cut from Believing the Lie?

    ?
