January 1937. Jack Miller has just about run out of options. His shoes have worn through, he can't afford to heat his rented room in Tooting, and he longs to use his training as an specialist wireless operator instead of working in his dead-end job. When he is given the chance to join an arctic expedition, as communications expert, by a group of elite Oxbridge graduates, he brushes off his apprehensions and convinces himself to join them.

So getting humanity's trust is a challenge. The Yherajk need someone who can help them close the deal. Enter Thomas Stein, who knows something about closing deals. He's one of Hollywood's hottest young agents.

Thank you again John Scalzi and Wil Wheaton for great fun. Wonderful writing and great narration make it to short a listen. I find that once I start listening I can't stop and the book goes by too fast. Wil is spot on with the way he reads and it engages me into the story. Loved it just as much as Redshirts.

It's Christmas in Half-Moon Hollow and newly turned vampire Iris Scanlon-Calix wants to make Gigi's first visit home from college as normal and special as possible. It's taken months for Iris to work up the nerve to spend time around her baby sister after her vampire transition, so she enlists help from Jane Jameson and Company to keep her blood-thirst under control and assure Gigi's safety. Gigi, on the other hand, has problems of her own, including the demise of her relationship with high school sweetheart, Ben, and a looming job interview with Ophelia Lambert, the scariest potential employer in the Hollow.

This was so great and I want to thank Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi for bringing me back to one of my favorite literary towns. It was a nice holiday treat which inspired me to relisten to the series again. I love Halfmoon Hollow and all those that live there. Thanks again for this great gift to your readers.

Hoping to bring some Tinseltown money to the Valley, the mayor lures a movie studio to town to shoot their next production, a big-budget Western in the classic tradition. The star is none other than ruggedly handsome—and notoriously badly behaved—Thad Perry. When the mayor decides that someone needs to keep an eye on Thad so that he doesn’t get into too much trouble, Bernie and Chet are handpicked for the job. The money is good but something smells fishy....

I continue to love this series and can't wait for more. Sometimes I think Chet is smarter then me, because he can at least keep some trains of thought going.
