Lauren Dane concentrates so hard on the dirty words and explicit sex details that she loses her way from the original setting and plot in every book I've read by her. The initial setting had great potential, the characters could have been lovable, memorable and well developed...Too bad again, Lauren Dane. What could have been a great erotic love story with interesting characters wound up just like all her other books...Boring, pedestrian and FLAT with lots of dirty words filling in page quotas. The bondage aspect was less than interesting. Could have been a good book but didn't make it.
Lauren Dane tries to be Megan Hart without success.
The story is an excellent hot sexy love story with a Mystery I didn't see coming. I am good with figuring mysteries but the twists and turns kept me guessing. I love the demons that Trace Montgomery is constantly battling in order to be with Ember.
NARRATOR WAS HORRENDOUS! If you like Kim Kardashien's nasal whiny voice, then you will love the narrator. If you like Parris Hilton's nasal monotone airhead voice, then you will be fine with this narrator.
The story outweighed the pitiful narrator who needs serious sinus surgery so try the sample listen before downloading. I hope if there is another book, there will be a new narrator.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this entire series. Smart writing, love the storyline about mental disorders people tend to know very little about...The author does an amazing job researching this subject.

Ugggggg! If you want lots and lots and lots of details and loads and loads of conversational drama, then go for it. Why this is called a Romance novel, I will never know. Did I accidentally download a Teen Romance Genre' book?
Had to speed up the iPod to get the narrator to a normal speed. Not my kind of book. Not smart & sexy (Smexy).
I could not get through this book because of the ridiculous voices the narrator portrayed. The male voice was like Mickey Mouse from the deep south. How un-sexy! Sorry but I could not judge the story for the horrific narrator.
Yes, the narrator was so awful that it totally ruined this book. I have no idea if it was a good story by Lorelei James because I could not make it past the first chapter. If you can stand an irritating, gravel, fake southern TWANG accent, then go for it. I couldn't take it. Sorry Lorelei James. I love your books, but this one is ruined for me.
"In Flight" should have received the billing 50 Shades got. This book is so well written with vivid characters you can't walk away from easily.
The Narrator is MOST amazing! James & Bianca have the BDSM thing going on, but the sex is tastefully described along with the sexy narrator's voice, this book most definitely has it all...Hot and a PLOT. This book has it all.
(I thought 50 Shades was tacky, boring, immature and poorly written.)
If you like an erotic storyline that actually has a plot and loveable characters, this 3 book series is for you too. I loved it! Definitely worth a credit.
If you did not like the "Vagina Monologues" then you will definitely not like this book. I almost turned it off half-way through the 1st chapter. However, like trying to turn away from an impending train-wreck, I couldn't just yet.
After chapter 3, I was totally grossed out and turned it off.
I will definitely ask for a refund.
i am a huge fan of romantic erotica, 50 Shades, J.R. Ward, etc. But this was a monologue type performance by a woman describing her explicitly gross sex life with her husband, how it looked, how it smelled, etc. No plot, no characters, just monologue that was a total turn off.
The narrator was good with what she had to work with.
I fell in like with the characters Samson & Delila. However, the sentences were choppy, lacked description, added nothing to help the imagination of setting or visualization of characters. Overall, the writing was immature, lacked luster and description and left the reader/listener flat feeling like you were reading a pre-teen book as far as vocabulary and grammar. Lots of words, nothing imaginative.
If someone would take this book and add a few adjectives and more mature adult character parts, it could be a great series. With the choppy sentences and lack of literary maturity, it didn't allow the narrator to be judged fairly either.
I suppose I was expecting the literary caliber of J. R. Ward or Suzanne Brockmann. This book missed the mark in a big way. I did like the storyline and all of the under-developed characters have much potential.
I downloaded the first 2 books in the series and hope Book 2 will exhibit more literary maturity. If not, I may ask for a refund.
Stephanie Meyers' Twilight Series & E.L. James' 50 Shades writings matured after their first book in series, perhaps Tina Folsom will do better in Book 2 of this series too.
Being the third book in the series, I think I loved this book as much or maybe more than the first two. Lots of hot romance, wonderfully suspenseful action, intrigue, murder and some violence.
Hunt & Sophie's story includes the other characters from Book 1 & Book 2 making it hard to decide which series HUNK I lust, I mean like the best.
OMG, the narrator's sexy male voice... Doesn't get much better.
Buy all 3 books in this series for an exciting sexy listening adventure!
Perhaps it is just me but I could not get into this book. If I have rated it unfairly after listening to 2 chapters, then my bad. Don't waste a credit.
