Someone who can listen past a very strong (English?) accent.
I have loved the other books from this author, and was thrilled when a friend told me about this book.
I was unable to listen through it to know, but will be finding a different method to get the story.
My review on story is a guess based upon liking of author's other books (since it wont let me clear it).
This whole series has been a joy to listen to.
The story-line meshed the feeling of several of my favorite tv shows.
The interaction with the dog and the Druid give a light heart at less than light issues,
It has an interesting look at the supernatural world living just below the surface of the mundane one (which is one of my favorite flavors of book.
This book didn't pull me in as much as the others did,
it seemed like it was just wrapping up the story.
The concept was good, and I am interested in getting a hold of books after this one, Some of the descriptions of the company seem like they will be better after the audience has had time to get their brains around the concepts of the company.
Good character voice recognition, but It dragged a bit at times...
I was playing this in the car, and a friend of mine was with me randomly in the middle of the book. They were comfortably listening to something that could have been a historic story, then the immortals are by themselves, and anachronistic abounds. The sputtering, and shock of my passenger as they start talking about robotic parts, and listing off animals and plants that would be extinct by X date.
Listening to the continuation of this series that I've grown to like.
I like them all.
