Would you listen to Protector again? Why?

Yes I will listen to this many times more. The political intrigues and the wit of both aiji dowager Illiidi and Bren Cameron is so good. I just love The way Bren, Illisidi and their allies work together. Casijie is growing up very well and I find him so amusing and loveable at times. I love Daniel Thomas May's performance so very, very much. I already have a collection of the books and now I'm collecting the audiobooks as well!!. Can't wait for the next book.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bren - he is so smart and admirable and so diplomatic. He is able to sort things out o well.

Have you listened to any of Daniel Thomas May’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    He is very good indeed.

What did you love best about Burn for Me?

I like the interaction between the two main characters, "Mad" Rogan and Nevada. He is so arrogant, so confident of himself. Nevada is independent and so caring of her family. The secret that Rogan is hiding. Nevada's grandmother and her mother both strong women.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Burn for Me?

There are too many to count.

What about Renee Raudman’s performance did you like?

Very good! One of my favourite narrators.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed a number of times. I enjoyed it when Rogan presented Nevada with a bouquet of carnations and she closed the door in his face. What he did after that was so funny!

    Any additional comments?

I hope Bk 2 will be published soon.

Where does Blood Passage rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I love it! I have finished Bk 2 of Connie Suttle's Blood Destiny Series and I am now waiting anxiously for Bk 3. I am completely hooked on it. Blood Passage definitely rank among my Top 5 list of Paranormal books. I am so thrilled when Audible came out with Bk 2. Please keep the rest of the series coming ASAP?

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lissa of course. I like her strong character and her very admirable personality. She is caring, loyal and courageous. She is brave to speak out when she see the need and also to fight to protect her friends regardless of the cost to herself in doing so. A true heroine in every way.

Have you listened to any of Traci Odom’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I like Traci Odom's performance very much. Her characters were spot on. Please do not change the narrator for the rest of the series.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last part when she was so disappointed with the Vampire Council and their unfairness towards her that she ended up doing something hazardous to herself (no spoiler).

    Any additional comments?

Thank you Audible for the first two books. Please release the rest of the series ASAP!

Plus, things are looking up with my sometimes-partner, Cherabino, even if she is still simmering over the telepathic Link I created by accident. Fifteenth-century Venice is a safe haven for the masterless dregs of the vampire world, a city where they can live without the fear of retribution for violating another's territory. Still, there are plenty of ways for a young vampire to die in the glittering city, a lesson that prince turned pauper Mircea Basarab must learn quickly. I used to work for the Telepath’s Guild before they kicked me out for a drug habit that wasn’t entirely my fault. Now I work for the cops, helping Homicide Detective Isabella Cherabino put killers behind bars. My ability to get inside the twisted minds of suspects makes me the best interrogator in the department. But the normals keep me on a short leash. What did you love best about Blood Wager?

The whole story. It's certainly so much different from the usual vampire/paranormal. I like that the character given to Lissa, the heroine. The Council and the werewolves with their rules and differences. Certainly one of the best paranormal books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lissa. She is so sensible and strong and her willingness to just jump in and help when there's a need. Still at the same time human enough to feel unhappy with her plight.

What does Traci Odom bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Very good narrator. Very good with the male voices too.
