Already the alpha pair of Denver's werewolf pack, Kitty and Ben now plan to tie the knot human-style by eloping to Las Vegas. Kitty is looking forward to sipping froufrou drinks by the pool and doing her popular radio show on live television, but her hotel is stocked with werewolf-hating bounty hunters.

This is, in my opinion, the turning point book. All of the books in the series are great, however, this book is where things start getting interesting.

Merry Gentry pretends to be human. She moved to Los Angeles and began working as a private investigator at Grey's Detective Agency. But all of this is just a disguise; in fact she is a princess of faerie, her real name is Meredith Nic Essus, and she had to flee the Dark Court of Faerie because of attempts on her life. In order to inherit her rightful crown, Merry needed to conceive an heir, a notoriously difficult task for the slow-reproducing Fey. In the 2009 novel Divine Misdemeanors, Merry had finally achieved that goal - and fans have been kept waiting all this time to find out what happens!

This was a good book. It was nice to get more of Mary and the babies, but it was a struggle listen as the reader was so awful.

In this line of work, you either get lucky or you get dead. And since I destroyed my nemesis, Mab Monroe, a few weeks ago, all of Ashland’s lowlifes are gunning to make a name for themselves by taking out the lethal Spider—me, Gin Blanco."

This was a great book. I could not wait for it to come out. I was afraid it would be a let down after the first 5 book dealt with one main character that dies. But, Jennifer, nicely transition from one crisis to another. I love the characters Gin. This series is so worth the credits. Start at book one and you will be hooked. Hurry with book 7...

Miranda Puckett has failed at every job she’s ever had. Her mother just wants her to come home, join the family law firm, and settle down with Jason, the perfect lawyer boyfriend. But when Jason turns out to be a lying cheater, Miranda seizes on a job that gets her out of town: long-distance vampire transportation. Her first assignment is to drive vampire Collin Sutherland from Washington to sleepy Half Moon Hollow without incident—no small feat for a woman whom trouble seems to follow like a faithful hound dog!

This was a really funny/cute book. I have to say it was very true to form. For a quick laugh out loud book, this is well worth the credit.

Trenton, New Jersey, bounty hunter Stephanie Plum has inherited a “lucky” bottle from her Uncle Pip. Problem is, Uncle Pip didn’t specify if the bottle brought good luck or bad luck..

Mo says: "16... is a fizzle not a sizzle!"
"Janet is trying, but she is not quite there yet."
    Overall

This book was ok, much better than fifteen, because that one sucked big time. I still have to say Janet is not all the way back to the story format of the first few books, which were great. Nevertheless, this book was not a total waste of a credit. However, I think Janet needs to pick up the pace, because, it is starting to feel like she is running out of material.

I am also getting tired of the back and forth teasing with Ranger and Joe Morelli. Stephanie needs to date Ranger for a while and Lula needs to go back to Tank. Maybe that will help Janet with some content.

We're the D'Artigo sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, we are savvy - and sexy - operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Delilah shapeshifts into a tabby cat whenever she's stressed. Menolly's a vampire who is still trying to get the hang of being undead. And me? I'm Camille - a wicked-good witch. Except my magic is as unpredictable as the weather, which my enemies are about to find out the hard way.

I really enjoyed the story and the beginning series. I can't wait for more books by Yasmine Gelenorn.
