The audio tape brings this story to life. The voices were cast perfectly. A true Mississippi woman, I love the way the author knows all of those southern rules, and some that were before my time.
I loved how the characters in this series are introduced and reappear in each book.
She is a good reader but needs to stop using the west coast word for garage and use the southern pronunciation. Its annoying.
I loved the book but the reader ruined it
Her imitation of English accents was horrible and distracting.
Loved the story line which was ruined by the reader
The authors background and education gave this some credibility. This book is so different than most books about nde that focus on religious conversions. Much more inline with the experiences my freind had.
I would have rated this a 5 but the details were a little murky.
All of the characters are fun. Love the idea of ex navy seal turned fbi agent is unique.
The plot was intriguing and kept me listening.
He has the tones and nuances down perfect
I only listened to the audio
This book was an interesting history of navy seals.
I have read all the cat books and must say that the audio versions are even better than the books, especially with Guidall as the reader. Just makes me understand the characters better hearing his interpretation.
Not really, this is light reading, cute and fun
He nails the lead character and actually makes him much more likeable
