"Four Frog and Toad Books in One Collection"
I liked listening to Arnold Lobel's stories about Frog and Toad when I was little. This is the complete collection where you can hear all four Frog and Toad books. Don't waste your credits or money buying the books separately. Buy the complete collection and you can save a lot on Lobel's popular books.
"A Great Way to Count to 100 by Means of a Story."
The audio version of this book is just as good as the print version. Try also looking for the video version of this book at your library. The video adaptation has extra monologue not heard in the audiobook version.
I also recommend with this book "Otto Runs for President" because both titles are by the same author, Rosemary Wells.
I also heard Diana Canova narrate "Otto Runs for President". She does an excellent job at reading Rosemary Wells' books.
There is already a video version of the book. I knew I'd find the story of "Emily's First 100 Days of School" brought to life somehow.
"Emily's First 100 Days of School" is a great book I know anyone can "count" on.
"Giddy Up and Git Ready for a Wild Ride, Partner!"
This tall Texas tale is a personal favorite western story I recommend you listen to, fellers. This legendary Texas tale is told, like nobody else can tell it the way he can, by Robin Williams. You'll find out how the first cattle drive was invented, how Bill was raised by coyotes, and how he rode a wild cyclone.
I loved the way Williams told the story of Pecos Bill with a twanggy sort of accent the way most Texans speak. Saddle up your horse and prepare for a classic tale from the Wild West--a good ol' story ya'll never forget. Yee-ha!
"Prepare for the Famous Ghost Story of All Time"
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is the most popular ghost story of all time. It's about a school master who basically meets up with a rich girl. Someone else wants her hand in marriage, but the school master keeps admiring her. In the tale, he gets chased by the Headless Horseman and some people believe he was gone forever. Some legend!
Perfect for Halloween or a dark and stormy night, Sleepy Hollow is the right tale to listen to if you believe in ghosts.
