"Nice Summary of the Best Ever"
This gives you a short overview of the book. This will be good if you have never read the full book or like me, use it as a quick review/reminder of the key points. But, it is not a substitute for listening to Think and Grow Rich (I recommend the original version performed by Erik Synnestvedt)
"An Extraordinary Life"
Arnold lived the American dream. This book gives you his view of how he pulled it off. It is really amazing. He really did Think and Grow Rich. I am really pleased that he explains his business ventures with as must detail as the Hollywood stuff. His life before Hollywood is fascinating and you can see how he laid the groundwork for his success. You will not get the salacious details about the affair that ended his marriage. But, if that is what you want, just get a gossip rag. Arnold’s life was so much more than that. Be warned, he uses some course words including the F bomb a few times. But, that language was part of his life.
"Breaking Your Personal Glass Ceiling"
This book is really eye opening. Does this sound like you – You have success and things are going very well. Then something goes wrong and you end up back where you were. Has that happened in your career, with your finances or your relationships? If you said yes, The Big Leap is for you. It is about how to recognize your upper limit behavior and break through you self imposed glass ceiling.
"An Excellent Rags to Riches Story"
A friend of mine suggested reading this book. Prior to that I had never heard of Sandra Lee. This is a pretty good rags to riches story. She overcame some really serious challenges in her life with hard work, risk taking and a lot a moxie. She did get some good breaks too. But, she was smart enough to take advantage of them when they came along.
"Just a Short Speech. NOT the Audio Book"
This is just a 20 minute speech Dr. Kembro gave at a conference. The speech is pretty good. But, giving this the same title as the book is false advertising.
"Good. But, Read the Book Too!"
This book may change the way you relate to money. How you think about it, manage it and make it work for you. It has helped me recognize some of the weeds I needed to pull out of my mental garden in regards to money. But, this is the abridged version. Get the book! It will be easier to do the exercises suggested. Doing those exercises are a vital part of the book.
"The Original is Always the Best"
If you have read or listened to other versions of Think and Grow Rich you need to listen to this one too. It is the original 1938 text. It is longer than most other editions but, it’s worth it. There are whole sections of this book that are left out of other versions. And I found those sections to be quite valuable. As for the narrator – I thought he was fine. His delivery allowed me to add whatever color I needed to as I digested the information
"A Classic Well Done"
This is a very good version of a classic story. There are other versions of this in Audible. But, be careful. Some of the narration on those versions is terrible! The narrator here - Kevin T. Norris - is quite good. He delivers it the speech clearly and keeps in the style of the time period of when it was originally given. And the message of the story is fantastic!
"A well told story about a very interesting life."
This is much more personal biography than a political one. It is an inspiring recollection of someone that is truly living the American dream.
"Decent story about Bond as a boy"
If you are a Bond fan you will enjoy this. Since the movies are on hiatus I needed a little 007 fix and this did the job. Although this book takes place when Bond is a boy it, it still hits the James Bond themes very well.
