"Perfection!"
At last, a perfect combination of a much loved and respected classic with the finest narration performance to grace the audio world. Josephine Bailey is the quintessential narrator for each and every book I have heard. The narrator brings this story to life, with her multitude of amazing voices. Even if you already own a previous version of this, you should do yourself a favor and buy this one as well. Thank you Josephine Bailey for your Academy Award worthy performance.
"Excellent!"
I love all of Lauren Willig's books, and recommend them to all my friends. As for the narrator, Justine Eyre, I find listening to her narration quite enjoyable. Her voice is clear and sweet and it's easy to get lost in the book, without being aware of the narrator.
"Romance at it's best!"
Romances just don't get any better than this. You can't miss when choosing a Lisa Kleypas book, be it contemporary or historical, she never disappoints. The narrator is outstanding as well. A perfect pair.
"A beautiful finale"
This is my favorite romance series of all, so far. The Wallflowers are all so endearingly unique and the books are never predictable, they are always laugh-out-loud funny, and much to my distress, cry-out-loud as well. Once again the narration is excellent! What a truly talented/gifted combination, writer and narrator. Rita should take another look at the series, and discover how wonderful a romace series could be.
"A masterpiece!"
This is the third book in the Wallflower series, and probably one of my favorites in the series. There isn't one thing that I would change, including the most excellent of narrations. I also want to thank Audible for making available immediately upon it's release, thank you!
"Disappointed!"
I took advantage of the sale so that I could try this author. The narrator ruined it.
"Loved the book"
Here is a case when the narrator ruined the book. I would choose to read the book myself rather than purchase another narrated by this narrator. Anne Flosnik overacts, especially during love scenes, I found myself fastforwarding through each scene where things got a little bit exciting, and I found myself wishing there were an option to return the book by the first chapter.
"Dark"
This romance is much too dark and seedy for my taste. I would categorize this as erotica, not romance. The narration was very professional. I listened to this to the end, but if it were an option, I would have returned it by the second chapter.
"A treasure"
When I saw that some of the Wall Flowers series books are being offered in audiobook format I was thrilled. After listening to this, more than once, I have to give this my highest recommendation possible. If you like beautiful romance, and if you like excellent narration, you will not regret purchasing this audiobook. I am waiting anxiously for the remaining Wall Flower books to become available in audiobook format as well.
"Completely enjoyable!"
I am very embarrased to say that I almost passed this book by because of the previous reviews. I loved this audiobook, and I completely disagree with the previous reviews. The author's descriptions along with the wonderfully life-like characters make this a great book.
The narrator is very good, she captures the characters perfectly. Her voice is very enjoyable to listen to.
"My favorite"
The combination of the perfect modern southern romance, and the award worthy narration, makes this out of the hundreds of audiobooks I have, my all time favorite audiobook. It's sweet, sad, and very funny. You can't possibly be disappointed.
