I listened to the abridged version (in the car, while traveling) so some of the story's development may have been removed. The plot was intriguing and the story moved quickly enough; I would recommend to other readers who enjoy John Grisham but I didn't think the selection was one of his best books.
An amazing life narration, skillfully written and told, about a brilliant man who drop-kicked technology forward. The book highlighted Steve Jobs' extraordinary talents and flaws in the context of his personal and professional life, and the entire story was mesmerizing, from beginning to end.
Steve Jobs, his own best and worst friend.
Genius among us.
I'll keep this book in my library, to read again.
No, I would not listen to another book written/narrated by Carol Burnett.
As she is a noted comedienne, I had expected a recollection with more warmth and/or humor. Found neither and became bored.
She narrated her life well.
If the book was made into a movie, I would not pay $ to see it. The book was a real turn-off.
I listen to it over and over again!
The journey of her career, from Second City to SNL to 30 Rock.
Her humbleness and the support/praise she gives to her peers.
A great "listen"!
