"The Best Story I've Listened to thus far"
Oh yes!
It was well thought out, researched and delivered. I especially liked the surprise ending of the doctor coming back to the community. Everyone learned, including me, in this story.
The narrator's voice in depicting the characters was very well done.
When the doctor's wife asked for Gerdie's (?) help is saving her husband.
More along these lines are appreciated.
"Loved the Characters!"
Always! I've issues with my sight and reading becomes increasingly difficult.
All the characters meshed together to form this wonderful epic.
Feeling
When the damsel in distress became the hero.
thank you!
"I was Always Trying to Guess . . . what next?"
The narrator was great and really made the listener feel like he/she was interacting somehow with the characters in the story yet his voice did not drone on and put you to sleep. The whole story was very stimulating to the imagination.
The plot keep me interested and anticipating what would happen next or who the culprit was. To find out in the end . . . wow!
The scenario with the Native Americans was great and gave more depth to the story and characters.
No extreme reaction, but satisfaction except I would have liked to see Rachel end up with the hero in the end.
Just keep up the great work! Onward and Upward McCammon!
"Too Close to Home"
No, but it's not a book I would have chose to read. It was a discussion book for our reading group.
I am not sure changing anything would have made a difference.
Yes.
Please, no!
