"hard to express"
It seems trite but I find it hard to express the gratitude I feel for receiving this great teaching
from a truly great teacher. ROBERT Thurman makes the complex and esoteric clear as a bell
"interesting book well narrated"
This is another fine book by the author. To me the subject matter wasn't quite so interesting as that of Entanglement but still an interesting read. Once again, a superb job by the narrator.
This isn't Shakespeare. It is science and the narrator couldn't have done a better job.
"flawless"
This is the best book I have ever read on quantum mechanics-it's history and one of it's most mysterious qualities. The narrator is flawless and a perfect choice for this type of book. The fact that his presentation was so clean and direct made the material easier to understand. Highly recommended for those who want to be informed and mystified.
"What a Blessing!"
At first, I gave this title only 4 stars, but then I found myself listening to it everyday in the car. Suddenly, my life has changed,
my practice has risen several notches and my behaviour has been modified. What a Blessing in the truly Buddhist sense.
"Not much here!"
I was disappointed in this work. It was a little too mundane for me,
and a little trite. I would recommend other audible titles on buddhism and insight by Pema Chodron, Shinzen Young or Thich Nhat Hahn.
The most wonderful, informative and entertaining work on Buddhism on audible is "The Middle Way-Buddhism."
As for "Awakening the Buddhist Heart", not that enlightening nor informative.
"Wonderful"
Entertaining, informative and inspiring. Explains all of the basic concepts of Buddhism, including conditionality. Play this CD over and over. It's always enlightening and interesting!
