Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This might be my favorite of the Narnia series but all are good and a must read. I absolutely LOVED the narration by Alex Jennings! I wish he narrated all in the series - and all of my favorite audio books!

The NIV Audio Bible: Old Testament is more than a Bible you listen to. It's an experience that helps you enter into God's Word...so God's Word can enter into you.

This has got to be one of the best ever audio versions of the Bible. You'll stay parked at your destination just to hear a bit more - you won't want to turn it off. It's like a very engaging movie - it draws you in and keeps your attention. I highly recommend this one and I have tried many others that were either too over the top and distracting or too boring to keep your attention.

Senator Ashley Butler is a quintessential Southern demagogue whose support of traditional American values includes a knee-jerk reaction against virtually all biotechnologies. When he's called to chair a subcommittee introducing legislation to ban new cloning technology, the senator views his political future in bold relief; and Dr. Daniel Lowell, inventor of the technique that will take stem cell research to the next level, sees a roadblock positioned before his biotech startup.

I was so disappointed with the ending in this book! It felt like Mr. Cook got tired of writing and just picked some kind of ending to get this project over with. I think this book had SO much potential and Mr. Cook didn't really take advantage of that. The whole aspect of using that particular blood sample had a lot more implications he could have used toward the end and with a better ending. I liked it until the end. I even gave it a good rating BEFORE I had finished the book. I have since changed my rating. I really wanted to like this book. I could have put up with the poorly developed female character with a better ending.
