Would you try another book from Tracy Brown and/or Allyson Johnson?

No! I think abortion is wrong. I think organized crime and murder should not be glorified.

Would you ever listen to anything by Tracy Brown again?

    No

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

    She did a good job

What character would you cut from Aftermath?

    Most of them

    Any additional comments?

Not something I want to read for entertainment.

At 24 years of age, U.S. Army Ranger Sean Parnell was named commander of a forty-man elite infantry platoon - a unit that came to be known as the Outlaws - and was tasked with rooting out Pakistan-based insurgents from a mountain valley along Afghanistan's eastern frontier. Parnell and his men assumed they would be facing a ragtag bunch of civilians, but in May 2006 what started out as a routine patrol through the lower mountains of the Hindu Kush became a brutal ambush.

    Story
If you could sum up Outlaw Platoon in three words, what would they be?

This is a true account of exactly what our troops are facing in Afghanistan. The day to day life of our soldiers, including truths that you won't hear from the media or our government.

What did you like best about this story?

Exposing the facts that our troops are fighting with their hands tied behind their backs.

Which character – as performed by Ray Porter – was your favorite?

    The main character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

As an ex military this story invokes anger at our government.
