I am a huge fan of Louis L'amour, I have read every book he has written. So it is nice to get to have the books read to me for a change. I also like the fact that these books don't have a lot of swearing and sex, I can listen to this book and not worry about my kids. I reall liked the narrator.

Soon after Gwenda moved into her new home, odd things started to happen. Despite her best efforts to modernize the house, she only succeeded in dredging up its past. Worse, she felt an irrational sense of terror every time she climbed the stairs.

In fear, Gwenda turned to Miss Marple to exorcise her ghosts. Between them, they were to solve a "perfect" crime committed many years before.

What did you love best about Sleeping Murder?

I loved how just when you think the mystery was solved, there was a new direction.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Though I guessed from the begining who-done-it, the story still kept me engaged enough to listen to the whole thing. I really enjoyed the characters journey to the truth.

What about Stephanie Cole’s performance did you like?

I really like how well she switched between the accents of the characters

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to this in one sitting.

It’s 1849, and 12-year-old Addie lives in the shipbuilding town of Essex, Massachusetts. Her father has left the family to seek gold on the West Coast, and tragically the flux has ended the lives of her mother and baby brother, leaving Addie all alone. Fearful of being taken in as a servant, Addie flees from her house into the snowy woods, where she endures hunger and bitter cold until Nokummus, an elderly Wampanoag woman, coaxes Addie to her dwelling.

I thought this book was not too bad. It is a sad story. I felt the reader wasn't too bad, but the story is good in the begining and then at the end she rushes through. It seemed the author lost intrest at the end, or was in a hurry to finish. The end isn't on par with the rest of the book.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

This book was amazing, but the narrator left something to be desired. I really wished they had gotten a younger reader to read the book.

This story was well written for the most part, but I felt it got a little wordy is some spots. I love the ending, things were not left hanging all the lose ends were tied up nicely. I got a little confussed a couple times, so I had to rewind it. This wasn't terribly suspensful, but I must have had enough to keep me reading. I hope I didn"t give any thing away.
