This book was interesting but a very slow starter
Ive already read two of the Amelia Peabody series and enjoyed them more than this one
The narrator did the best she could with the weak material
Mqybe, but I would want to see the cast first
Maintains the high level of writing and narrating og thi series
All of the In Death series manage to keep me enthralled.
I'm sure that I will read this over many times over the years. The story has tremendous impact and is a psychological roller coaster.
She tells it like it is, the good, the bad and the ugly. She also includes insight as to how she developed her songs. She also sings verses of some of her hits. You get it all !!!
She has great control of her voice and is one of the best narrators I've listened to and I listen a lot.
Absolutely! She was inspirational and kudos to her for writing this book.
I hope she chooses to narrate additional books in the future
Cold days was a dramatic improvement over the last two books. Harry shows signs of growth in his mental, psychological, and magical capabilities. I wish Karen had more to do in the book.
James masters " is Harry Dresden". I can not imagine anyone else reading this book.
I'm not a reader of romantic novels but the guild hunter series is great. It combines a paranormal plot with romance. Great character development and steamy sex.
The ending is beautiful and totally unexpected
She has a very distinctive voice. I thought iit would be hard to tolerate however it grew on me and became a part of the story. She handled both men and women well.
I'm not a romance novel reader. I chose the book for its paranormal content however I love Nalini Singh's writing style in this particular series.
I didn't expect to like the book but was pleasantly suppressed. It will take a few chapters to get used o the rhythm o the story and the reader.
Sylvia Days a touch of crimson. I think this is much better
The author does excellent character development. You fel invested in the happiness f the characters.
Her voice was a little to sweet for the male voices. However, a ou go along it becomes irrelevant.
This is one o my favorite series and I bought it becaus it was on sale.
Reliquary is a mystery procedural but also an anthropological look at the cast system in New York City. I love to read books that teach as well as entertain me.
The story was intense and exciting. I also love the budding relationship of Hayward and D'Agosta. The character development in the book is excellent. You have to feel something for the characters (good or bad) inorder to really abosorb yourself in a book.
Last scene when the main characters go down below the subways and meet the inhabitants.
I love Preston & Child and read all of there work. They never cease to amaze me.
I would if they liked history in the court of Henry the Eighth. The book was slow moving and lacked excitement, however I learned alot of new things I didn't know before .
The discription of the childbirth, and how she was allowed to bleed to death and also die from a severe infection.
The preformance as excellent. She was easy to listen to
It did not cause Any strong reactions except sadness when Jane Seymour died
I will definitely read it again since this book is filled with so much information I'm sure I will enjoy it it different ways.
The suspense never let up, it constantly kept moving along with new surprises.
He was able to do at least 8 male and female voices very well.
Yes, many but I don't want to ruin the surprises!
People who do not like intense violence should not read this book!
The best thing was the narrator. Her voice was easy to listen to but there was not much she could do to help improve the book.
Maybe she shoul sell it as a young reader book instead of as an adult book. I love Richelle Meads "Succubus" series and think its a far superior series.
Deep, husky easy to listen to voice.
I don't think so, I would listen to her other series instead
Love the genre but not this book.
I don't think I would only because it was very long, and complicated.
I am a history buff so I enjoyed the details in the book, things that are not usually entered in the shorter works.
I think she did a great job with Marc Anthony, Caesarian, and Cleopatra.
There were many, otherwise I could not have finished and enjoyed this "big" book.
If you like history and are not afraid of lots of detail you will like this book. It helps that the narrator was easy to listen to.
