I enjoyed many of these stories. The narration was quite good. The only complaint I have is that the writers put crude language in that really didn't need to be there. That was a distraction. It also meant that my children who listen with me could not.
I wish we could delete these words prior to listening.

Like every other hobbit, Bilbo Baggins likes nothing better than a quiet evening in his snug hole in the ground, dining on a sumptuous dinner in front of a fire. But when a wandering wizard captivates him with tales of the unknown, Bilbo becomes restless. Soon he joins the wizard’s band of homeless dwarves in search of giant spiders, savage wolves, and other dangers. Bilbo quickly tires of the quest for adventure and longs for the security of his familiar home. But before he can return to his life of comfort, he must face the greatest threat of all.

Mr Inglis does a great job on narrating this book. He has a great delivery style and seemed to enjoy the read. The book is very good, first time I have read/listened to it and I now have a new movie in my head.
I would comment that listening to this on my android device it kept having points where it sounded like the recording stopped and then it would go again. May have been my device although I haven't experienced it on other books.
Over all this is a great book, I look forward to listening to the other 3 in the series.

First appearing in print in 1890, the character of Sherlock Holmes has now become synonymous worldwide with the concept of a super sleuth. His creator, Conan Doyle, imbued his detective hero with intellectual power, acute observational abilities, a penchant for deductive reasoning and a highly educated use of forensic skills. Indeed, Doyle created the first fictional private detective who used what we now recognize as modern scientific investigative techniques.

Where does The Complete Stories of Sherlock Holmes, Volume 1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have always enjoyed listening to Holmes stories. This one is among the best as it also contains many of those I don't have in my library already.

What about Charlton Griffin’s performance did you like?

Mr. Griffin does a very good job at relating the stories. He is engaged and kept my interest as well.

Where does Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is great, I wish there were more of these unabridged books on recordings. Having been a fan of the series and reading the books years ago the opportunity to listen is great.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Star Wars: Heir to the Empire (20th Anniversary Edition)?

I am not sure I have a favorite moment from this book. It seems the entire book kept my rapt attention to the point of getting in trouble with
