The story started out great giving you an insider's look into the beginnings of a long time relationship between two friends who eventually became a couple...However, the craziness between the two of them, although comical, seemed very dysfunctional. Although it wasn't the worse story, it certainly could've used some help with the ending...It just kind of left you hanging.
It wasn't the best that I've heard but the performance was pretty good; didn't care for the ending.
I loved the book but the audio version left alot to be desired. I felt the narrator could've done a whole lot better.
The custody talk...the "daddy for the holidays" fairytale.
Two of my favorite narrators, either Ezra Knight or Kevin Free.
No, it was too fairy tale..Not one of Ms. Jackson's best books.
I loved the characters and the fact that it had factual events i.e. the passing of Whitney, which made the store seem more real.
The other Strong Family books....they're all RED HOT!!! LOL
She always does a great job!
The ending, it left you hanging.
Yes, usually his books are pretty good.
Definitely! It left you hanging.
I would definitely recommend this to a friend. It was a serious page turner that had more twists & turns, dips & flips than the newest rollercoaster at Six Flags Great Adventure....
That it tells the truth on what lies & secrets can do to relationships.
She makes the characters come to life...Great job Soozi!
The realistic emotions that the characters went thru after the feeling of betrayal.
I love her narration; she keeps the story moving.
The Ultimate Betrayal
It took me awhile to get thru this reading. I'm not sure if it was the storyline or the narrator which was surprising since I usually love Ezra Knight's voice. So, we'll just go with the storyline...it kind of just dragged out. However, the twist at the end was refreshing.
I loved the story about Adam & Evia which I found out their names had a symbolic meaning. Although Evia's actions really started grating my nerves after a while...the old saying "be careful what you wish for" definitely applies. I also enjoyed the way the author "snuck in" a moral to the story - very clever. It would be nice if there was a continuation or part 2.
This story was not a disappointment which I wasn't surprised since it was coming from Carl Weber. Great story and I love Ezra Knight & Patricia Floyd's narration...Can't wait for a part 2.
I loved the story although it started off kind of slow. Once it took off, I couldn't put it down. Great read!
