"Vampire story in a different angle"
What i love about this book:
1.) Story is catchy and different
2.) The pace is reasonably fast and consistent
3.) Sexual tension is off the chart (a bit cliché at times, but can't complain)
4.) Action packed
5.) Absolutely capable narrator
Grab this book! You can't stop listening :) i guarantee....

"very funny... very entertaining..."
It was a beautiful easy listen... what a treat!!!!!
story was believable... characters were relatable... and it was so funny i was having a hard not shaking my bed and wake up my husband when i listened to this at night. it was light hearted, beautifully written, and very romantic piece from Molly Harper. LOVED IT!
Oh, and the narration was SPOT ON! she did it again :D
"Soooo sweet!! Ladies, u'll need a handkerchief!"
Omg!!! Where to begin?? This book totally consumed me. I didnt expect it to be this good!! I finished this book in like less than a day, if only I needed to use the bathroom or work or eat, I think I would finish it in 1 seating!
It is so rare for a book to drag out this kind of emotion from me these days, I've been reading so many books that it started to get predictable, but this book! Omg! I cried And weeped like a little girl! Seriously my husband walked into the room in shock seeing my mascara smeared face, i weeped and told him it was the book, he laughed but scooped me in his arms saying sweet nothing into my ears.. (I love him to death for that) About fifteen minutes later he walked in to check on me again, and I was laughing... It's that crazy good! Seriously, It's sooo good!
It was so different from the moment it started, it kept me on edge, kept me guessing, i squirmed and laughed and cringed and cried both happy and sad tears! it was soooooooooo sweet! I'm sure sth in me melts into a pile of goo when I finished!
I loveeee the characters development and the journey them both embarked on... The writer did a splendid job at revealing climaxes! They were very sneaky! Splendid! And the narration!!! Ughhh The story literally came to life! Not a thing about this listen I would complain if u ask me, besides the fact that it ended!!!
I wish Andrew was real! He was funny, sure of himself, wise, smart, musical and he has a heart of an angel!! And Camryn, the heroine, she's so strong and witty... She's very lovable! I love them both to bits!! Omg how I mourn that book is finished!?
If you liked The Note Book, or The Last Song or sth in that department, this book is totally for you!!!
"So Hawt!!!! So delicious!!!"
I read this book in paperback a year ago... And as soon as it's released on audible, I downloaded and finished it (again) in 1 seating!
It was so hot and steamy! It was also so cute these two. The heroine has such strong personality and at times she challenges the hero to his limit. I'm on the edge of my seat the whole time holding my breath listening to them pushing eachother's buttons. It was simply delicious!! And Rydstrom, the hero of this book, he's just.... Ugh! Sooooo hawt! So sweet! He's all male and oh... So sexy!!! Omg
The book is action packed, the narration is spot on as always!! You've done it again Robert Petkoff!!
Tips: read book 5 first!
"Mixed feelings???!?"
Warning: it's a cliff hanger!!
Please don't let my 3 stars rating stops you from buying this book though. Overall, I do kinda like it. Relisten to it though? Nahh.... But I did enjoy it. Did I want to strangle the heroine at times? Sure! Did the story become so unbelievable sometimes that I just want to smash my phone from pure annoyance? Hell yeah! But.... I did enjoy it.
The story started off with a bang! It came off so strong that the first few hours made me feel giddy and excited, but then that was all the positive reaction I got from it. From there on, it just spiraled down. I found the monologue to be too long, too much, too exaggerated, repetetive and way too dramatic. And the erupt ending didnt help the case.
Just don't expect too much, and I guess you'd enjoy it. It wasn't all that bad. I'm actually looking for the second book now... Unfortunately though I can't find any information about its releasing date, or if H M Ward is ever going to continue at all.
"You'll need a fan for this!!!"
I pre-ordered this book a month ago and was on edge the whole time waiting for it to release. It doesnt disappint!!! This book is captivating! It twists, it turns and I very much enjoy the ride the author had brought me on.
Both hero and heroine were introduced in book 1 and had me totally convinced that Jaime was going to be a meek submissive shifter, but boy was I wrong! In this book, she was everything I secretly wish she turned out to be. Hero's personally had been consistent throughout both books. He's strong and domineering and an all male beta! it make me squirm when he grew to care so much about Jaime and he was soooo sweet and oh soooo sexy. *swallow*
Sex scenes were hot and heavy. You might need a fan for it!! Jill Redfield did a good job narrating as always!
I kinda wish there were more action to it like the first book though, if not more. but Its no biggy!! I still enjoyed it very very much!!!
"An average read"
After reading so many reviews i was a bit hesitant to buy it. But i took a chance and it turned out.... hmmm okay. I already knew what i was in for i think that's why i just went with it. No disappointment, cause i didn't expect anything more than what it had to offer.
if you're looking for 50 shades material? Maybe it resembles some.. with all the billionaire dom and mild bdsm plays.. but if you're looking for christian grey material, i don't think this fit the bill so much. Whatever incorporated in 50, it turned out to be a bit too extreme and debased here. The hero was just a f*cked up character. There was no dramatic childhood or explanation to how he became the way he was either... in plain writing he was just naturally f*cked up and selfish. Not really likable.
It wasn't a bad read though... just readable.
"Unrealistic and misleading genre!?"
It was hot I could give it that much. There were so many sex scenes, if not the deed itself than thoughts of it. It should be under erotica and not romance.
Characters were unrealistic. Heroine had the weak doormat kind off characteristic but wasn't strong enough to build a personality that I could relate to. Didn't a trait or something that could dignify her as the heroine. The hero(s) were better explained and a bit more distinct to relate to. But still weren't strong enough to stand out.
There were no plausible plots from the second they met down to the end.
Not a total disappointment though, I gave this 3 stars because I liked the writing, and the hot encounters. They were rather creative and imaginative (ahem ahem)
GET IT if your into hot group sex!
"Not the best... More like a journal to me."
I didn't like book 1, "Beautiful Disaster" that much... But after seeing so many good reviews, I took another chance. Didn't like it then, didn't like it now.
Too many unnecessary details... The plots were childish and seemed to be too immature. There were no ups and downs... The story just simply went on and then stopped. Like being read from a diary or sth.
Performance wise though was spot on. All the voices for different characters were distinct and exactly how I imagined it to be.
It wasn't bad overall... It had its moment and I enjoyed some of it.
"Alot of cliche?"
It was a good read but not the best. Alot of the the plots I predicted materialized, totally decreased any chance of me loving it.
Too many cliche. I stopped reading halfway through. Not because it was a bad read... Just too predictable. I already knew what's the ending gonna be like.
"Vlad the "heart snatcher"!!!"
Omg!! It was way beyond my expectation!!! Way!
This is one of those books that could easily top the first. Vlad totally captured my heart but not in a gooey mushy kinda way. He does things his way or the high way... But hey I wouldn't complain because his way is sooooo much better. I'm so in love with him, that by the time I finished, I was so upset at the realisation that Vlad was just an imagination of Jeanine Frost :( I wish he was real!
The heroine is also very likable. She's not one of those whinny character that keeps nagging about everything. Succeed or die trying, she handles eveything that thrown on her with so much determination. She's witty and sarcastic and very funny.
Definitely a must read!!! Can't wait for the 3rd book!
