This is the worst book that Michael Crichton has ever written. It has to do about Genes and has many different story lines that either come together or don't. Lots of reading of headlines about what is going on with Gene therapy and creation of 'transgendered' animals and plants. I real muddle into a boring subject.
Forsyth at the top of his game. I loved it, as I have everything he has written. It's clever, tight, and suspensful. A great twisting plot with wonderful characters in a plot that could happen. Well worth my time.
I agree with another reviewer that the books takes forever to get anywhere and is simply not believable. I have read this author before, and remember liking the books. In this one, the premise is wierd, the characters wooden, and the book tedious.
I read a lot of espionage - thriller type books and I really didn't ever get into this book. I had forgotten the subject matter as I was listening on my iPod, and had to go back to Audible to find out what it was really about, and I had listened to 1/2 hour of the book. Can't recommend.
