Now they must take over the family responsibility of being fairy tale detectives in a town where fairy tales are real. Their first case: a giant is destroying the town and it may have something to do with a boy named Jack and a certain famous beanstalk.

Would you listen to The Fairy-Tale Detectives again? Why?

I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who listens with their kids. My kids really loved how the fairy tale stories and characters are woven into the story. I will be downloading more from the series.

STOP. You should not have touched this flyer with your bare hands. NO, don't put it down. It's too late. They're watching you. My name is David Wong. My best friend is John. Those names are fake. You might want to change yours. You may not want to know about the things you'll read on these pages, about the sauce, about Korrok, about the invasion, and the future. But it's too late. You touched the book. You're in the game. You're under the eye. The only defense is knowledge. You need to read this book, to the end. Even the part with the bratwurst. Why?

This book started off a little quirky but interesting but quickly headed down hill fast. I'm not sure if the author lost his train of thought or just couldn't figure out where to go with the story but by the end I was ready to shoot Dave and John myself just to end it all!!

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

What disappointed you about Fifty Shades of Grey?

It was the worst thing I have ever read!! I didn't pay attention to the reviews and got sucked in by all the hype from friends and media, saying what a great book this was!!! Well I'm not sure what they liked so much but unless you are into bossy, moody gingers with S&M desires avoid this book at any price!!

What could E. L. James have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I'm not sure there is anything the author could have done to salvage this book!! Maybe i'm being a little harsh because I hate romance novels, but books like this one just prove me right!!!>?>

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

The narrator was horrible!! I could barely get through this book!!!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Fifty Shades of Grey?

If I were the editor I would have laughed the author out of my office and threw the entire book in the trash!

    Any additional comments?

Clearly I am not a "submissive"!!!! Or a follower because this book really stank!!

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

Mother, wife, private investigator... vampire. Six years ago federal agent Samantha Moon was the perfect wife and mother, your typical soccer mom with the minivan and suburban home. Then the unthinkable happens, an attack that changes her life forever. And forever is a very long time for a vampire. Now the world at large thinks Samantha has developed a rare skin disease, a disease which forces her to quit her day job and stay out of the light of the sun.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The plot was interesting but as much as I wanted to like Samantha Moon, I just couldn't. I found her weak and whiny. Okay, so she is trying to maintain as normal a life as possible for her family, and I get that! But come on, what mother (vampire) wouldn't rip out the throat and eat the heart of anyone who took away their children?
So,if you are into weepy vampires lamenting the loss of their humanity, this is the book for you. Not sure if this is a series , but if it is maybe she grows a pair in the next book!

When a vampire serial killer sends Anita Blake a grisly souvenir from Las Vegas, she has to warn Sin City's local authorities what they're dealing with. Only it's worse than she thought. Ten officers and one executioner have been slain - paranormal style. Anita heads to Vegas, where's she's joined by three other federal marshals, including the ruthless Edward. It's a good thing he always has her back, because when she gets close to the bodies, Anita senses "tiger" too strongly to ignore it.

    Evelyn says: "Finally, Anita's back!"
    "Almost There!!"
    Overall

I admit the book is a little slow and drawn out but it beats the hell out of the last few books. This is closer to the original books. I gave it an extra star just for dropping all stupid drawn out sex scenes. I don't know about the rest of you but I personally didn't recognize the the character Anita Blake and actually started to dislike her after Cerulean Sins. It was like someone else who knew nothing about the character wrote the books. The only reason I keep reading is in hope that the real character will come back. This book gave me that hope. And if you feel the way I do, then you should read the book. The question is, "Will I read the next book?" the answer, "Yes, I will. Will I regret it? Maybe! But what's life without a little regret. (Anita Blake 101)
